Talos (Gallente Tier3) Gets minmatar ewar bonuses?

looking over the bonuses for the new ships (which were ripped from sisi data)

Web/Target Painters have always been a minmatar ewar bonus. Gallente have traditionally always gotten bonuses to their point ranges and sensor damps.

I vote the Tornado should receive a point range bonus, if gallente are taking minmatar's web bonus.
I've always been extremely annoyed by the lack of ewar on minmatar's arsenal, and now gallente have taken that

Anyways, this is not fair. Gallente's tier3 is the only one with any ewar bonuses, and its a minmatar ewar bonus. Yes, webs would work wonderfully with the blasters. How about Ewar bonuses on the Amarr ships now? And Tracking Disrupter bonuses for my minmatar ships?

Please keep the ewar seperated. The pirate faction ships have mixed some of these abilities (obviously because they are intended to be a mixture of technology from the two empires) but these tier3 ships, from what i understand, are not Pirate ships and should not be mixing bonuses from other races

it's a serpentis bonus, which are gallente hulls, and the devblog said flat out the were making a mini vindi. The minmattar bonus for webs has always been range not effectiveness.

Well, those are tech2 ships to start. And i entirely disagree with them having web bonuses as well. Though, they get away with it because they are generally used by carebears for PvE only

Pirate ships i can understand, since they are a mixture of empire technologies, but Tech1 racial ships should not be mixing bonuses imo.

Now, even if you disagree with this point, i sill think its unfair the Talos is the only of the four that receives ewar bonuses

I agree with the OP Talos should not have that bonus....

Gallente Ships in General should.

Minmatar should not have the speed advantage and the solution to it.

Move all those Web Bonuses over to Gallente Ships post haste. Arazu, Lachesis, Celestis, Maulus, Keres, all range bonuses. Then give the Talos it's awesome web strength, Deimos, Thorax, Incursus and Hyperion while you are at it.

Change all Gallente bonuses to armor repair amount to match the Talos web bonus please. Thanks!

That makes the Talos arguably the worst of the four. Yes, on paper, it's a good bonus. But it's nearly useless in fleets, and in solo, that kind of BC don't have the EHP to be really usable.

Let me just quote this for the people that seem to have missed it. Lets all remember the Vigilant, Vindicator, Kronos and Daredevil who get a web SPEED bonus, unlike Minmatar who get a web RANGE bonus. So if you're going to make a thread about it, at least get it right as Gallente HAS the web speed bonused ships.

Talos is a mini vindi, tornado is a mini mach, is it really worth the QQ when it's already a superior hull.

I dont consider my post to be 'whining'. I was simply pointing out my opinions on the ship bonuses, disagree with them if you like. Replying with "QQ moar" on every thread you disagree with is rather childish, however.

I was hoping there would be others who saw these bonuses as in need of tweaking. I really dont want to see the Rapier and Huginn get shoved aside for a gallente ship.

He said "FOTM" and i've never heard that expression before, so i googled it, and apparently its a drink in WOW. There appears to be other definitions, such as "Fungus of the Month" from a botony website, and "Fans of Traditional Music" but i figured the "Flavor of the Month" mug from WOW was what he was referencing, given that he was mentioning taking a drink out of it, and this is Eve, which uses WOW frequently to insult others. I guess i'm an idiot.

With it's fall off bonus to large guns combined with it's speed advantage, the Tornado should have the edge over the short range though powerful webs of the Talos unless the Talos can warp right on top of the Tornado.

Internet meme's can be confusing, best just to avoid them and avoid commenting on them whenever possible.

Yeah but what does it matter if the tornado has to fight outside of point range? Its enemy can simply leave. While Gallente's version has the ability to 'do it all', high damage, high tackle, all in the same package.

Anyways, i do believe that these tier3's should have their bonuses harmonized. IE: They all get an ewar/utility type bonus, or none of them do.

Just like all the recons got their racial ECM bonuses, and HAC's did not. There was no middle ground where matar's HAC got ECM abilities or anything odd like that
