New Gallente BC should be a Drone Command Ship

Every other BC will be able to fit for firing at 15km or 150+km, and you want to pigeon-hole the gallente BC to close range. Sound great...not.



Hmm, what if said BC bonus extended to Sentrys. Range, ROF and Damage bonuses would be pretty nasty. A group of them dropping sentry drones and hitting you from 100Km would be pretty mean. Aka MiniDomi.

Given that these are, if I read correctly, supposed to be weak against smaller ships, a drone bonus works against that. It surprises me that the initial build had any drones at all. The web bonus seems wrong as well. 10%/lvl seems too strong for a T1 ship that is supposed to be weak against it's smaller counterparts.

If you give it sentry bonuses you become stationary dps, unless you want a frig to waltz over and pop your dps.


What you can do, on the other hand, is please give the proteus 25 more bandwidth, give the Eos 125 bandwidth plus dmg bonus, don't touch the Myrm and for god sakes keep the Talos rolling around with 8 hybrids (tracking bonus instead of web bonus so rails are benefitted would stand to reason but I'll take either!).

The Gallente BC line already has a drone boat with the Myrmidon. I would guess that the Talos will have a bigger or slightly better drone bay than the other 3 races new BC's but it won't be a drone boat.


ETA: Ugh. Just saw the stats that were pulled on all the ships and it looks like the Talos will be able to field 5 Hobgoblins and the other BC's won't have drone bays at all. Ships without drone bays are pretty annoying to mission in so that is kind of a drag. Straight
