Tranquility server not detected when on public wifi

I'm at a hospital for a few days with little to do, I've been wanting to play some EVE to pass the time but once the application launches it does not connect to the tranquility server. More than likely I'm guessing it is blocked on the hospitals end. I'm just wondering if there is a work around that someone may be familiar with.

Thanks in advance

You could try to mess around with proxies, but to be honest what i would do is get a broadband usb internet stick.
Eve causes very little data traffic (unless there is an update to the game), even the prepaid traffic should do.
If you dont have a stick try to activate some data package on your cell phone and use tethering, that should help keep the cost down to a minimum.
