[Suggestion] Drone Bandwidth Jammer/Missile Guidance Jammer

There are already EWAR platforms to counter turret-based combat, but nothing to really beat drones and defender missiles don't seem to be all that good.

A Drone Bandwidth Jammer would sever the connection to a host ship. You can already jam a host ship, but if you aren't fast enough, the drones will attack until they pop or you do, even with the host ship jammed. Also, if you attack, the drones fight back. By severing the connection, the drones would idle harmlessly, just as though they were lost. This could have a varied effect on bandwith, such as only jamming 50Mbit/sec per module or so.

A Missile Guidance Jammer would foul the guidance systems of a missile, forcing them to fly straight or on the last angle they had calculated. If you move out of it's path, this will allow you to easily avoid the missiles from the host ship. However, if you are foolish enough to sit still, they will still hit you.

Anti drone systems are Smart bombs, they work for missiles to some extent as well. Defenders just need an overhaul again...

If you don't follow the rules, neither will I.

I think everyone already fits "drone bandwidth jammers" in their highslots. Don't know why would you want to nerf drones even more.

Make it idiot-proof and someone will make a better idiot.

I just thought that forcing us drone pilots to attempt to reconnect would be very frustrating and would be less hazardous to my small allies.

They can already be affected by pretty much all ewar, why make drones even weaker?

Defenders... change them in such a way so they fire a rocket that explodes and causes Chaff/flares to confuse the missle :P

FFS i am so sick of people b i t c h i n g about no ewar shuts down missiles, there is two forms of EWAR to stop missiles, ECM and Sensor Dampening.

"hurhurhur but missile pilots will just use FoF missiles"

FFS FoF does 30% less damage than normal missiles, oh my gosh look you just mitigated the pilots damage.

FOrget about trying to get CCP to make new stuff to affect missiles, you already have EWAR at your disposal to deal with it.

yes, because disconnecting the drones on you from another player then scooping them to cargohold is a great way to make dronebaots a viable pvp platform.

droneboats are already ****** enough on ships smaller than a carrier, they dotn need anymore nerfs.

(and before anyone screams buthurt, ive never flown a droneboat, im strictly a lasers/missiles pilot)
