People of New Eden,

I bring news from the Matari war front. After a month long campign, the brave warriors of the Minmatar millitia have reclaimed the Dal solar system from the hands of the slavers. Many great fights were had over the period of this month and I would like to tip my hat to my enemies who showed great fighting spirit, and for that they have my respect. Special shout out must go to Smile 'n' Wave alliance. Their ability to go from downtime to downtime was nothing short of awe-inspiring, they deserve the victory they have achieved and I would like to welcome them back to their home system. In the end Matari organisation, drive, and will power won the battle of Dal, and I look forward to the fights that will be had in the coming days.

This thread pops up every time a strategically system is taken by any side in either part of the war. The results are always the same.

So are the results of every one of Kuvakei's purposeless "Incursions".

Yet, they continue to happen.

I don't think they've realised that they're not really working. Maybe they got stuck in a loop?

Despite the mewling of some here, yes, Dal is an important lynchpin in the Primary Front. (The war is currently fought on two major lines).

Losing it is a blow of consequence, recognized as such on both sides.

That said, its loss will be a rallying event for the Faithful.

Congratulations to my Matari allies. I had intended to redeploy to your theater to assist with this campaign, but was unable to do so. Well done in accomplishing this victory, and I hope to fight alongside you when another opportunity arrises.

This time you take the marbles, next week the Amarr reclaim them. It's like watching ping pong with gunfire.

Dal is one of those systems everyone sees as a propaganda coup but unfortunately in the backdrop of the to and fro of system SOV this gets stale very quickly.

You wanted it, you got it. When we want it rest assured we'll get it. Never-ending, it's almost like a sanctioned game where teams playing spend lives in lost games rather than points.

Reminds me of Intaki. When the Caldari take it, it's a 'huge blow' and we will soon be defeated for letting such an important system fall.

When we inevitably liberate it again, it's a 'pointless gesture that leads no-where.' Overrate your own achievements, apply damage-control when the enemy achieves something, seems to be modus operandi for most here.

This is true on many levels, sir. Thank you for your insightful contribution to the conversation, it is my hope that everyone learns from it. May it light your way, sir.

Congratulations to the TLF on a successful campaign.

Yes, the truth is so damn inconvenient to a military campaign.

"Bloodbird" the only people who post bombastic press-releases regarding the warzone are the Federal Militia. Why, the ink wasn't even dry on the "We won the war" bombast last time when the first system fell. And I think you'll find the last big fuss made over the capture of Intaki was by X-Gallentius.

If you've a good point to make, I don't mind, but half the time it's just knee-jerk hate with you.

For the first time since I started the conversation, he looks me dead in the eye. In his gaze are steel jackhammers, quiet vengeance, a hundred thousand orbital bombs frozen in still life.
