And here I was hoping for a revamp to the booster mechanics so I could become a trafficker (sounds fun!). In comes the OP to bring up the moral aspects of how certain pixels are bad for you.

Yeah, OK.

If your real life is in any way impacted by pixels, you need to be banned from the internet, banned from using video games and banned from planet Earth. You simply are not worthy of the air you breathe.

Crime, it is not a "career", it is a lifestyle.

Do not make this so simple. Escaping into a game world does not mean you have escaped the real world. Messing with pixels still can get you banned and worse.

I agree with you on mixing game drugs and real drugs on a topic. OP is just silly and trolling/baiting. It is a typical Goon noob thread, which we get to see every 2-3 days here in GD. It is probably some introduction ceremony by them to show off their shitposting skills.

Loss is meaningful. Therefore is the loss of meaning likewise meaningful. It is the source of all trolling.

I think you are confusing weed with alcohol. If you drink, you tend to weave when driving. Smoking pot usually just leads to you going 5-10mph below the speed limit.

That said, you are confusing boosters with drugs, and choosing poorly with the drug metaphors at that. Think of boosters more like steroids except for the mind.

Additionally, you don't seem to grasp how a pod works. Capsulers do not fly their ships using motor skills. You don't have a throttle and flight stick. Those metal disks in your capsuler's back... That is where the ship and pilot connect. It's all mental. Obviously a capsuler needs stamina, but they do not need to be a ballet dancer or master of fine motor skills. In fact, it may be possible to be a parapalegic and fly a capsuler ship (though you would probably just reclone to fix whatever paralized you if possible)

So really, there isn't much to discuss except either your poor attempt at trolling or you lack of understanding about the eve universe.

I realize that the in-game lore method for ship piloting is some sort of mental hookup, but turning your brain into Woodstock or your stepdad's camper van would still have a serious effect on your ability to pilot, regardless of whether your E.v.e. avatar were using his/her/hyr/zyr hands...

I think we are missing the most important point here....

WTF is E.v.e?

Excessive Ventricular Efficiency?

Elmo's Very Exasperated?

Elementary Vogon Economics?

I have deliberately developed an air of cynicism that I originally intended to make me appear somewhat louche and caddish but actually comes across as irritable hostility combined with the unspoken threat of sudden violence.....

E.v.e. Online, it's an acronym for the game that these forums were set up to discuss.

You think way too much in terms of recreational and illegal drugs and plain poison, which is what most of these are.

Instead, you need to think of engineered drugs of the future. Think about where we currently are in biochemistry and neurology - we are basically only beginning to explore the possibilities of engineered, molecular structures and still can only describe the brain functions in terms of large areas. Now imagine where we could be in the future. This is what EVE's drugs are about.

If our current understanding of drugs was this then EVE's drugs would be this. You get that?
