How long does it take to claim sov over a system?

Assume 3 stargates, 1 station, 1 pos with jumpbridge, no other structures except those that are necessary for sov (so a territorial claim unit, but no sbu you have to pop before putting yours online).

I am just curious about time it would take for timers and such, estimated hit points you would have to go through, and anything else most people don't know about because we have only been on the grunt side, not the logistic side.

And if you wanted to give full time estimates, assume no opposition, but state your fleets dps.

I would assume this is sort of the bare minimum to claim sov in a station system, obviously any fights and reps would prolong tge process.

Thanks to any who provide information.

Let's say you have 20 Dreadnoughts and no opposition. How long would it take to grind down the structures, including timers?

the timers are the major limiting factor. they go upto a couple days. so per system your looking at somewhere in that region if unopposed.

note: once the system is claimed you may still have some time to take the station as this has 2 reinforce cycles that are longer than the rest. (time to exit time + 48hrs +- 3hrs). compared to the dual timer on an ihub of (time to exit time + 24hrs +-3hrs)

The timers are explained here:
http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Sovereignty_%28Mechanics%29#Contesting_Sovereignty

If you know your DPS, you can also calculate the time it takes to reinforce all the things
http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Jump_bridge (Can be reinforced without reinforcing the POS)
http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Infrastructure_Hub
http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Territorial_Claim_Unit
http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Sovereignty_%28Mechanics%29#Outposts.2FConquerable_Stations (Shield and Armor, can be finished even after sov changed) Edit: Not so sure about that last part anymore. I know we once reinforced a station after the system was ours already, but I don't know how that happened.

Please tell me you are going to grind our sov out of frustration with the "wargames".

Or TEST's but since we won't be forming up to defend TEST, I'd rather you shoot structures in VFK.

Triggered by: Wars of Sovless Agression, Bending the Knee, Twisting the Knife, Eating Sov Wheaties, Bombless Bombers, Fizzlesov, Interceptor Fleets, Running Away, GhostTime Vuln, Renters, Bombs, Bubbles ?

Um... Why would RvB do that? Given we mostly fly frigs and cruisers, even I know that would take far far too long. Plus, I'm just a grunt, I have no control over anything. Don't confuse us with Red Alliance.

And actually, the wargames concept Sounds like RvB in nul.

I am just curious how long it takes to claim a system in nul just to have numbers. Having been in Atlas briefly, my only sov gridding experience was on the losing side, and I never got to see or understand all the aspects of claiming sov or the time involved.

better not to be involved if possible. it is a horrible grind for both sides, and the winner is usually the more persistent rather than the better side.

About 6 days. since there is at max 3d between station timers.

add to that the time it will take you to grind a 350 million ehp station, a 200 million ehp ihub and a 20M ehp TCU.

Thank you very much. I appreciate such a basic, concise answer. This really was what i was seeking.
