I'm working on the signing of the .app at the moment. I mentioned in an earlier post that I would try and get a new build out asap, which I'm still hoping to do Smile

I've just posted a new version, which hopefully has the signing sorted out. Please check it out: here

Uncompresses and runs fine here, thanks. :) Still have to confirm I want to open it the first time and then "Allow" it Internet access every time I open the launcher.

I'm testing the launcher out in OS X 10.6.8, and it's using up a HUGE amount of my CPU (normally between 85-99%). I'm also curious if this launcher will fix the known (and still open) bug where a case-sensitive mac fails to patch. See this forum post: Case-sensitive HFS+ not supported. That one bug causes me to have to download the entire client every time and then extract it from the dmg, then move the uncompressed file out of the dmg and into my applications folder (a several hour process). The sparse bundle work around doesn't seem to work for me.

Edit: I also noticed that this launcher doesn't switch to the other languages. Clicking them does nothing, the other links all seem to work (at least the ones I noticed).

I can start the beta version inside a case sensitive disk image if that helps Smile

In the thread discussing the use of torrents in future versions of the launcher you mentioned that this was part fot he beta test of the new Mac launcher. As torrent seems to be an issue with freezes, I ran the beta launcher, then a couple of regular TQ sessions. One froze.

Recommendation: You better find and fix the freeze issue before releasing the new launcher. Once its out the workaround of "do not use any torrents while playing Eve" will not be possible.

I should point out that the torrent isn't running in the current build, that you would have downloaded.
