community is amazing in terms of making isk , very proficcient , and very friendly for the most part., but this really only applies when ISN is in it's primetime which is eutz

as you get into the ustz you get a lot more americans, what I have noticed about these certain indivduals is that they seem to be very ignorant and/or racist. I have had to mute and block people both in fleet and on teamspeak due to this behavior, as an american , this behavior is very embarrassing and shameful as I am indirectly associated with these people because I am an american . this is an ongoing thing , nearly everday. I was actually very surprised with this becasue ISN is a very diverse community , people with all sorts of background in terms of ethnicity and where they live and whatnot.

other than that ii would give isn a 5/10 when combining the acutal isk making process and community, had it not been for the very blatent racism it would have been 10/10

community is half of what makes up isn and that is the reason for the low rating.

I like this community very decent people here , very diverse group, very informative and knowledgeable about the mechanics surrounding incursion running.

I want to highlight that he isk payout with ISN is aboslutely amazing, in several days I can go from 0 to billions of isk simply by joining the hq fleet during the EU tz. Very experienced Logi here , they take care of you ship as it if were thier own. Some people have exploded during hq sites, but this was due to a noob mistakes i.e new guys running incursion, but this isnt a daily thing and someone dying also doesnt affect the morale of the group. They start early during the EU tz and end late well into the us tz so they basically cater to the the major tz so everyone gets a chance to run and make isk

easily accesible teamspeak and a fair vetting process to become an official member of the group.

cons:

there is only one thing I dislike with the group and it happens during the US tz and I absolutely hate it, RACISM. i cant deal with racist, dont talk to them or associate with them i do as the other genetleman stated which is blocked people and set them -10.0 for this type of behavior. i cant understand why for the life of me this occurs with a very diverse group , there are certain individuals who I iwll not name that do this during every fleet and it is highly annoying and disrespectful, if they arent racist then idk why they continue to exhibit such behavior. This has been the only problem that i have experienced with is other than that I would recommend this group to anyone looking to run with a a professional and organized group.

Why is this sticky?

Better yet why does TVP, the biggest incursion community in the game and actually friendly to new players, not have one? or the other like 5 big communities?

No reason other than they didn't make a thread. You should start one for TVP.

For T3 cruisers we use Loki's this because of the webbonus they provide. We dont use missile ships because of the lower dps they bring. This dps loss is mainly because of lost missiles because stuff can die when missiles are in mid flyed.

For BS the Mach is the most used ship (keep in mind we also have fleets where we have more Nightmares or even Vindi's) but the Mach is the most versitial ship because of the tracking and fall off from the guns it uses.

I hope this clears up the questions you have, you can always join "ISN Secondary" if you have more questions there, mostly there are people there that are willing to awnser you questions.

I asked about flying a Loki last night and was informed you haven't flown them since last summer. Can you confirm? I have Loki ready.

Lokis are still used, assault NCN sites cant be completed without them, unfortunately Blaster vindicators have taken the Lokis job in HQ sites and can be used in VG sites as well.

So I guess it's all a matter of timing, if the fleet needs a drone Commander, and a loki is available then I don't see why an FC wouldn't take it, but in the long run a BS will get you more fleet invites than a loki.

Incursion Shiny Network is a successful Incursion community that was created in the late 2011, Currently being managed by Noble Ranger , Kodavor and Bozl1n . Incursion Shiny Network has earned its reputation by fielding full pirate faction fleets in the Incursion scene, That being said there where only a handful of communities that could compete against our Incursion fleets, Meaning with nobody around to take us on for site or system control, We relished the rewards from the Vanguard systems.

When Inferno came knocking on Incursions doorstep, A lot of communities fell apart with the recent Nerf, With only a short list of Incursion communities left standing, Incursion Shiny Network started to look into Assaults, Getting the kill orders correct and keeping the standards of our community. We still remain Vanguard focused but now have conquered all of the Incursions sites including many Kundulini sites . All of it was possible trough hard work and support of or pilots in the core .

How To Join

Joining Incursion Shiny Network is simple, We currently have two ingame channels, This helps us maintain our community and gives it some infastructure.

ISN Secondary - This is our "Public" channel, If you are new to our community or want to join us this is the channel that you wish to join, This enables you to join and post your fitting, If your fitting meets our standards then you will be pulled into a fleet by one of our trusted Fleet Commanders.

ISN Primary - This is our "Members" channel, Once you have joined our fleets and the Fleet Commander is happy with you and how you do in the fleet as DPS or Logi, You will then be invited here.

If you are going to join our public channel, Please do so in a mature frame of mind, If any trolling or bullying is taking place you will be banned from our channels, Please make sure you act mature.

Requirements

The only ships that we fly in our community is Pirate Faction/T3 so please do not come into our channel with T1 Hulls and Meta 4 Guns, You will not be invited into fleet, We are a high standards community, I will give you more fitting information below.

With maxed out OGB

Machariels/Nightmares: T2 Guns, All Resistances Above 70%
Vindicator: T2 Guns, All Resistances Above 70%
Basilisks: Logistics 5, 5 T2 Shield Reps, Sufficient Tank
Scimmitar: Logistics 5, 4 T2 Shield Reps, Sufficient Tank
T3 Cruisers: T2 Guns, All Resistances Above 70%

Please note that we no longer have a public Mailing List for our Fittings due to various reasons .

A simple question then if I may:

Where do we see our future within the incursion community?
Seems we're pissing off a lot of people lately.

ISN contested other fleets out of systems at various times with various types of fleets, occasionally going heavy on grid. This was an inconvenient for VGs but is more irritating with AS and now HQ.

The other communities expressed their displeasure at these actions.... but ISN continued without regard.

ISN took down a mom to see if they could (imo, that's fine even if they didn't join the mom rotation agreement)

ISN continued to take down moms early, again the other communities expressed their displeasure at these actions but ISN continued without regard.

DIN leadership told ISN leadership that if they took down a mom early DIN would take down the next 2. (Personally, i don't think this was a wise decision. Although i think its still more ISN's fault because they took moms down early KNOWING what DIN would do when they did. In any case, both communities can share the blame for these events)

DIN then took a new approach to handling the situation: doing exactly what ISN has been doing for a year or longer, simply contesting them out of system. (Note: DIN has done this sometimes with same number on grid, but usually go heavy on grid. DIN makes no attempt to hide that they are blobbing)

More recently, several other communities have helped DIN by forming more/larger blob contesting fleets

ISN continues to deny that they EVER went heavy on grid to contest DIN, and specific members of DIN were targeted for ganks, although ISN also denies being involved with that.

So anyway, that's what happened. imo, ISN should stop complaining about the things that they themselves did.

I would like to see ISN fly in a different incursion system, maybe with the help of another community or 2. Maybe they can show that they will stop their early mom take downs and contesting when there are free sites available. I hope that one day we can all fly in the same incursion again without any more of these conflicts.

This is an accurate account of things for the most part

Except the part in bold, on which id like to add that ISN does not need to be heavy on grid to beat a fleet of boxs

Big thanks to the mods for cleaning up the circus the thread had turned into

First. I must correct that. Proof: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nZgsLfwBix0
you can see the Blob Squad with Diviser and 44 in Wing 1. Minus 1 Offgrid thats a total of 43 to beat TVP. So why do you wanna Keep up the lie about you dont run heavy? we have proof here.
Diviser is waiting with a couple of ships in front of a site in case youre getting a contest. and if you jump into a taken site he and his squad jump instantly into the site.
Everybody sees it now and then.

Second. So you admit that ISN sent out gankers to gank DIN FCs?

This is almost right. The VERY FIRST ISN mom, TVP management was there. They took screen shots of the entire fleet, and everyone was banned. TVP banned us for doing "THEIR MOM." Seriously? Your mom? Lots of jokes and fun were had there. Not only did EVERYONE who was in the first ever ISN mom fleet get banned, but we got banned from all other subsequent communities that takes their orders/queues from TVP. The second mom ISN did, same thing. People who weren't banned from the first round, got banned from the second. Some people who got unbanned got banned again. More and more incursion communities joined the TVP banhammer train. To be honest, we didn't mind much, we thought it was funny, we beat anyone in the majority of contests. To this day, though to their credit, several smaller communities have rolled back some of their bans, no community that followed the ban hammer has released all their bans/gags of ISN pilots entirely.

Now, to fly with ISN seems to be some sort of "black mark" to the rest of the incursion community, resulting in a permanent ban in most cases. Personally, I wear my Black Mark with pride! ISN and it's members are some of the most mature (when it matters), most fun, most efficient, and all-round the best pilots I've ever flown with.

I've only been flying with ISN for a couple months so I don't know what got the whole drama thing started but here are my thoughts on it.

1. ISN could care less about "sharing" mom sites and doing "mom rotations. Nothing wrong with this. We actually lose money on MOM sites so we could care less.
2. ISN wins 90% or more of HQ contests. When I started to do shield fleets a couple months ago, I was flying with TVP and one day I got pissed that ISN beat us in 3 contests in a little over an hour. So I started flying with them. Nothing against TVP, they are fun to fly with but they are just slower than ISN.

Here is what a typical day looks like for ISN when we are flying strong; about 190M isk an hour

http://imageshack.us/a/img600/5475/isn3102013.png

We beat out 2 separate fleets in contests. then beat out the same group when they bumped up to 62 battleships. the last tick when we were heavy was when the other group brought in over 100 ships when we were in the last room so we warped in a few extra ships. We still won. I tried to take a screen shot but their blob was too much for my overview to handle. The hour and a half gap at the end was when they followed us around with their 100 man fleet because that was all they could do. Guess they were thinking "if we can't win, then nobody will win"

So, if you want to make tons of ISK and don't care about politics or playing games because your group can't compete, come fly with us.

if you don't want to fly with us, that's fine. Get better and beat us that way

you should clarify, that 189 mill per hour is only reachable with your fleet while contesting.

DIN achieves 7 Sites in 65 Minutes without contesting other fleets. Proof: http://s1.directupload.net/images/130312/2oh5oyif.jpg

Without another fleet in System ISN isn't even able to win the contest against the influence bar.

And about the 90% contest wins. at least against DIN that is not true. even without blobbing we are able to win 50% of our contests against ISN.

fly safe mate.
