All T2 ships should be as awesome as this.

I'd love to see all the T2 variants of T1 ships follow some kind of similar approach.

It makes sense to have the T1 variant look like something that was mass produced in a factory and the T2s to look like ultra sleek high tech vessels. The Kestrel and Manticore both look similar, you can tell they are based on the same design. But the Manti is the one that looks better because its the T2 variant.

For example, we have the caracal and the Cerberus. The Cerb is just a caracal model with a reskin. I'd like to see it have a new model that resembles a caracal but with T2 aesthetics.

They're working on updating ship models (see the Stabber and it's variant).

From what I understand though, the bombers were a special case as they had to be redesigned to look good with battleship sized missile launcher turrets (missile launchers didn't used to show up on your ship model), and that required new models designed just for them.

Golem needs more winged forks. I also like how the stabber model has the rear turn bright orange depending on the speed

What I'm asking for is more than just a few wingy bits like the vaga vs stabber. But much more so that they look like different ships while still being similar overall.

I definitely would like to see CCP do with all T2 variants what they have done with Stabber/Vaga or Kestrel/Manticore. Heck, even the Tristan/Nemesis is pretty cool. It's nice to see that a T2 ship is more advanced.

Great film, bought it on Blu-Ray for my Dad, watched it, bought a Corax. Quite gutted that it is literally impossible to shoehorn a cloak onto it and still make it a viable surprise-attack ship :(

All ships should be awesome.

Although the Imicus/Helios and Moa/Eagle/Gila are probably the most hated hulls in the game.

Bananaphone and Caldari Trogdor. The just don't make sense. Like Wookies on Endor.

If there was a cruiser or Bship that looked as cool is the Manticore, its would be the only thing I'ld ever fly.

The Bombers are big enough to be Destroyers...

Which is why they should add 4 Torpedo Destroyers based on the Bomber Hulls. For one thing Destroyers IRL were actually designed entirely around being large fleet sized Torpedo Boats so it would be nice to have one of those. For another it it is just plain fun, the Tier 3's of Destroyers. Finally It is economical, CCP says they want to make Battlecruisers and Destroyers a class to scale of Cruisers and Frigates, 4 ready made hulls would make this easier and if you add another at the same time that is 4 for each race.

Heck there is even one Torpedo per race. So to sum up a Torpedo Ship Destroyer would be awesome, cheap and awesome.

They're actually as big as cruisers. With the sig radius of a frigate.

Size by class is a tough distinction. Some Cruisers are big even close to Battlecruiser size and some are small. The Thrasher is bigger then the Rupture. The Rupture is comically small.

In all the average is 120m for Bombers with the Hound being 260m or small Cruiser sized but spindly with little mass. They might even need a small up-sizing which would work to adding a forth launcher to add a bit of length making Dmg with a 5% bonus effective but not to powerful.
