I dunno what is it exactly, but the recent version of your avatar seems to be much more attractive, even with severely damaged left side of the face. The only thing that I dislike is the shape of ear lobes. And even then it's a personal preference.

Also one might wonder if that's really a capsuleer or an android from many ship's crews, which do have emotions and feelings pretty much identical to real human beings. Yay for today's high tech which solves all the problems for lonely capsuleer captains in their quarters!

Thus I wouldn't worry about others making "aww, too manly" comments. It's just the makeup that makes the most difference in the appearance... well, besides whatever is below the neck line, right? Oops

Overall your avatar has much more personality than all the barbies in this threadnaught. Smile

Solid 11/10 imo.

And I'm going to be hit by that foreside, 8/10

Aw thank you Tanthalassa. Those are very nice of you to say. This game does have enormous customisation options but in the end the game is what it is and I wanted to make what I considered a believable capsuleer pilot. For better or worse.

The left half I guess.... It represents and symbolises the duality of games like these. Perfect porcelain dolls that fight for their lives day in and day out and they come out looking as perfect as when they went in, not even smeared mascara. The things they do and experiences they endure never show.

When I was 15 I joined my nationals youth guard. It's like the national guard but for ages 15-19 and they where merciless.

As a girl of about 45 kilograms the first thing they did on the first week long exercise was throw an "FN MAG" in my hands and strap a radio to my backpack. The others had their own backpacks but I received the standard pack with the metal frame so I got the radio because it could be fitted on my pack.

My makeup lasted about half a day and on the second day I frantically washed off as much as I could in a creek to keep it from running into my eyes.

After a few days in the woods I literally looked like ****. I was cut and bruised and scrapped and dirty with insect bite marks all over my face. A broken mess with torn up feet from walking dozens of kilometres in brand new boots and cut up hands from cutting myself on the tools and equipment and getting my fighters caught and the ridiculously oversized gun with foldable parts that would snap shut or spring open at you whenever you let your guard down. I was by no means seriously hurt but I looked ten times worse than my avatar does. And after that I couldn't in any way accept the idea of anyone with a longer degree of combat experience coming out unscathed.

Even pod pilots started out somewhere before they got into the clone cycle. Years of experience, of serice. some sort of history other than being born, turning 18 and then becoming a pod pilot right out of highschool.

As for the inspiration of the design. I'm not really sure where it came from, it just appealed to me. A kind of unfortunate mix of what I consider natural and confident beauty combined with the experience of a life spent in service. That you have to learn to live with, make the most of and move on.

If I look back I can think of several well made female characters that I could have drawn inspiration from like Valentina Koslova, Doctor Blight or Mira Han. All strong and beautiful characters.

When I look back. My Old Republic character had a very similar design

I guess that in a game that is in the end about interaction with other people. I want to make a character I like but I also want to knock the superficial aspect of interaction out of the way as soon as possible.

Well turned into a lot more text than I intended. Messy.

The very sun of heaven seemed distorted when viewed through the polarising miasma welling out from this sea-soaked perversion, and twisted menace and suspense lurked leeringly in those crazily elusive angles of carven rock where a second glance shewed concavity after the first shewed convexity.

@Angelique

Very unique and different avatar. One of the few female chars that has a more plain look rather than being good looking girl. And the 2face effect is quite nice.

However you avatar lacks something to get the full points. It gets a tad too boring.

9.5/10

That bemonocled version need a chain that goes from the monocle to the nose-ring. Then you'd have something. I'm not sure what, but it'd be something. So Shocked out of 10 for that one.

Houm... the framing is just some centimeters too low for an elegant boob shot. The lighting is a tad extreme but works enough, just the bakcground has got an apparent light source and the model doesn't matches to it i.e. the background looks fake. As for expression, she's not looking at us, obviously, but we can't tell wether she's looking at something nor why. Will break the unwritten rule to not rate low to not get low ratings, and will say 6 of 10 because of boob shot.

Needs a little bit of a creative pose. Other than that, lighting compliments the background and facial features well.

Yours are mesmerizing eyes, but you should really look into the camera or play with angles until the squint eyes are fixed. Eyebrows make for a perennial "so what?" expression and face tratisa re OK. Will say 8/10 for the powerful eyes, but, plaese, look into the camera!

Nah, she must not move at all, the quint is perfect.

You avatar is very good too. You're the fleet commander, who does not have to be menacing, when entering the room, people will see reason in your suggestions, you have natural authority and still being casual. 9/10, needs a shirt.

Also, I'm trying poses, please skip me.

Oh, the shirt is incoming, along with a little pose change. What Yiole really needs it's the Khanid half zipped jacket or -again- the black "Structure" dress. I mean, the white one is cool and Ishtanchuk looks good with it as she's quite tan (and her red skin is plain gorgeous), but a white dress on fair skin turns the décolletage into a shiny blob.
