thank you. but are arty's any good? for ex, should the target be webbed/scrammed for them to hit like in normal ship fights?

Depends on target and range, they won't be that great for hitting for instance guardians without webs but they aren't bad for hitting battleships and battlecruisers.

TBH its a bit academic the goal is to make your tower not look like easy pickings - a lightly defended POS will attract attention, one with online guns, scrams, etc. will make most people move on for easier targets. If someones really determined to bash your POS it will take more than POS guns alone to stop them.

i understand that view point. Its more to stop them from considering to attack me rather than stopping the attack itself. Yeah they are quite cheap so i'l throw in 2 dozens and leave them off lined.

I always recommend a few large guns. Not for the battleships but for insta-poping the idiots in frigate/SB/COps who think it's safe to sit 150K off a POS uncloaked. Seriously you want large guns for Battle Ships as well. You can fit a BS to siege from outside med-gun range. A handful of large gun makes the siege a bit more complex, and some folks will just pass on POS they can't semi-afk bash.

Will do. A couple large AC will be enough? I'l have some more off lined.

1. On an unrelated note, do you guys think 2 chars can run a C3 site? give me some ship combo's that are good if you can pls. my skills are well balanced so any combo is fine as long as its cheap enough to replace. (tengus are ok, but i cant fly faction bs until i know about the sites better)

2. About the pvp side, is solo (with 1 char, since i am not experienced in dual boxing pvp, but can do an OGB though) roam in wormholes effective? or people usually roam in fleets of t3 ships?

I dont mind losing ships but i prefer to lose it in a good fight and not to a gank. So any tips are wellcome.

3. Oh and the statics i get will be occupied most of times, how do you guys go about running the sites there? Roll the static if its crowded?

4. Also can i pls get a link to read about rolling the static C3 if anyone has anything?

We used to run C3 sites with drakes - the old fit still works well enough post BC/HML changes, or if you want to speed it up a bit tengus.

If you have a character with ganglink skills trained you can stick the siege resist link one one of the drakes to make up some of the tank and reduce the tanking modules for more DPS/tackle/target painters. Probably worth sticking a probe launcher in the empty high on one of them if your running sites in your static.

Thank you. Assuming i use the above setup in dual drakes, can u tell me what will be an approx completion time for C3 sites? Also you have a dedicated salvager i suppose?

Last time I ran C3 sites was before noctis was introduced (we used alts in catalysts for salvaging 1 site behind) so I can't really remember site completion times.

I was told to always go with a large POS regardless of what you are doing. Especially in a C2-C3, if you POS is set up correctly then there usually won't be enough fire power that can get into that WH unless you really pissed someone off and they have it out for you LOL.


Talocan United has a ton of great info for WH's.
