This feels like the right forum

Saila VIII - Moon 16 - Zainou Biotech Production

Has a popular Story mission that requires 10,000 omber. and the station just ran out of omber.

The very sun of heaven seemed distorted when viewed through the polarising miasma welling out from this sea-soaked perversion, and twisted menace and suspense lurked leeringly in those crazily elusive angles of carven rock where a second glance shewed concavity after the first shewed convexity.

This isn't the kind of thing you want to share with everyone.

It is when you're doing missions and need the station to have Omber.

Unless she is a regular buyer, something I take to be the case.

There are a few variations of this for Omber, Jaspet and Kernite in different places.

They do sell for a nice premium, it's something I've dabbled in the past.

my gut feeling is that it isn't worth the time effort except in a few choice systems.

I should buy an Ishtar.

maybe reread the op the choice station was handed to you on a silver platter Big smile

the effort of setting up a courier contract and a sell order isnt much for the passive income you will recieve over time. This forum is full of people looking ofr the little gem and getting flamed, and then when someone obliges they get flames too. hmm.

Maybe this is becoming the trash bin forum.

Selling 'mission' ore like omber, veldspare, scordite and kernite in story mission hubs is always a good profit maker, you can sell your ore for higher than the regular market/mineral price there. I've done this in the past and it makes a nice bit of extra money.

Sadly, this one is waaay out of my operating area, else I'd probably drop a few milllion omber there.

Does railgun ammunition come in Hollow Point?

It's now two days later and no one actually brought any Omber to the station as it's still empty. I've been renting a hauler and making trips to jita to keep myself supplied for the mission.

Contract Red Frog to bring a freighter load out for you to place up on a sell order.

I really have no interest in investing into selling omber. Just my missions.

Perhaps you should.

Missioning was what has got me into trading and, unlike missioning, trading has no endgame that becomes boring and repetitive.

My dear. When it comes to missions to the point of boring repetition. It's so far back I can't even see it in the rear-view mirror any more.
