Hello! I am wondering if there is a keyboard shortcut to target enemies? I hate having to right click and target.. It would be much better if I can just click on the ememy and press t for target or something.. rather then the menu!

Also, on a more general basis, is there a place online where I can get a `map` of keyboard shortcuts that I can print out?

I would love to have some physical reference sheets! it makes gaming so much easier!

It could be another addition to my gaming binders!

Thankyou!

Targeting is ctrl+left mouse button.

Afaik there isnt a list of key maps but the default one is in the esc menu and you can not down/change the ones you need/want.

As j'poll says. I would advise you to bing the keys in a way that seems logical to you.
Also double click on wrecks in range will open them. :-)

OK thankyou! I am wondering also tho.. When I use the orbit shortcut, it defaults to 1000m, or 1km. Is there a way to change that?

For my current setup, 7.5km is much more suitable.

I havn't found any settings to change that.. Thanks!

right-click the orbit button, and a context menu will (should) pop up allowing you to change the default range.

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia

it's same as the 'keep distance' button, you can also set the default value

if u want to track the target, or want to centre the target when it is off the view, press "C" , it will centre the camera to the target
Press "C" again will cancel the tracking feature
also, you can move the tracking position by pressing the 'δΈ‰' like button on the 'selected object' window(the window you can press approach, jump, orbit, etc.'

Aside from that method you can also activate a module that needs a target, such as a scrambler or a weapon, and then just left click the target without holding control.
