can we please have the old star gate sounds back ?

for any of you that dont remeber listen here

you have to admit what we have now isnt an improvement.

And, really, it's not about better with CCP.
CCP believes in change for the sake of change, because they simply can't come up with anything new for the game....You know...an "Expansion".....What?

So instead, they try to fix mechanics, like the bounty system, which has been broken forever. While I agree that many things need fixing in the game, spending all your time fixing issues you created, and calling it an "Expansion" isn't really expanding the game.
Nor is it really impressing players with more than half a brain cell.

Stop asking for fluff, EVE has had way to much of that lately.

CCP, can we replace all stargates with giant slingshots with boingy rubberband sounds?

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

Would be nice if they added the particle effects back in as well.

I have to disagree.

While I do like the old 'boom' noise as the stargate fires, the old sounds to me are more like something you'd hear on a Commodore 64.

I'd love to hear a mix of the two - the smoother sounds we have now but still with the boom that we used to have.
