Ships bigger than 27k in size when unpacked, gets destroyed from SMA.

SINGLE things bigger than 27k also gets destroyed i.e courier packages, ships ect.

kill a corp hanger with stuf™ and you get multiple cans

Almost every dessie+ ship in the game is bigger than 27k m3 when unpacked... It used to be that "dropped" ship would just kick out into space... waiting for someone to board. I've picked up Ravens and Megathrons from SMA's I've blown up.
--- If CCP has changed this, so BS's and Tengu's no longer drop when I blow up an SMA, it explains why I rarely get anything other than shuttles and frigates in the past many months... CCP, fix this...... or provide a damn good explanation why it was changed!!!

This weekend I destroyed some silo's that dropped multiple cans of loot (each can containing 27k m3 of Reaction Products). So I know it's possible to ket lots of stuff dropping still....

if the stacks are split-able it will multican if not it will trash.

Just to get this correct, if the total total contents of a hangar array are above 27km3 then all the items are destroyed?

For instance if you had a stack of 28km3 of tritanium, then it would all be destroyed instead of splitting the stack? Because that would suck.

If it is just that any items over 27km3 are being destroyed though then I don't see what the big problem is. Surely that would only destroy unpackaged ships and packaged ones above a battlecruiser.

none split able items gets destroyed, you still get multicans.

the issue is that ccp cba to code loot cans to be infi size like wreaks and just trash your loot if its in courior contracts/fittedships/unpacked bc+.

Yes I see what you mean. It would be annoying if you blow a ship hangar full of ships and only get a few shuttles due to the size limit. At least stackable items are split up though,

The truly amusing part to all this, is that it in no way combats shuttle bombs. Tons and tons and tons of jetcans will still pop out, with 5 shuttles each. Or you could mass assemble/disassemble rookie ships, load hangars full of civilian mods, and produce similar effects. This was a poorly done fix, if you can even call it an intended mechanic.
