[BUG] Possible Texture/Engine glitch

It doesn't happen often, but when it does, it is blindlingly annoying:
Sometimes, wrecks on screen cause one side (usually right) of the screen, or the whole screen, to blank solid white. I had a screenshot but another program went ape causing a necessary restart.

Since I can't find bbcode "code" tag in the list here, I'll assume it is disabled -- so here is a dxdiag.

The reason I assume it is wrecks is that the glitch doesn't rear its head unless there is a wreck on screen. It may also be LOD related; if the wreck is further away, the issue stops until that wreck is in the screen again.
