Remember the saying (because it is true): "chatgris is always right."

In this case, chatgris stated that "Farmers don't win systems pvpers live in."

Caldari is quite an easy faction to plex whore for at the moment, and there are quite a number of Caldari plexing alts swarming over Placid. The systems 4~ jumps away from Nennamalia are an excellent place to do this, as not enough PvPers live out that way - there, you can make LP to your heart's content without any faction warriors or filthy pirates interrupting your profit-making activities.

Also please tell me a few good plexing fits. I need it to be able to fit a cloak and a stab or two if possible. What is the BEST ship for plexing?

The changes to faction war have seen a great increase in the number of viable plexing fits. While before, you may have only seen Pangu's double stabbed Merlins, now you can see a wide variety of different plex farming boats as you roam the plexes. Here are a few, expert faction war players may be able to contribute more:

  • The stabbed Atron is a perennial favourite - it's cheap enough that you can simply AFK a few alts at once in defensive plexes (or offensive plexes after you have killed the NPC's) and accept the loss if a PvPer should engage you and you are not fast enough/at the keyboard to warp out.
  • The Tristan is another choice - with a cloaking device, two warp stabs and as many ECM drones as you are able to fit, you are almost completely immune to PvP and can disengage at will.
  • The MWD Condor is also gaining popularity. Fitted for maximum speed with light missile launchers and no tackle, the overall strategy is to kite the NPC's in a plex, then sit at 29km (or whatever the edge of the capture radius is from the plex button). Once a hostile lands on grid, move away from the plex button until the aggressor leaves. Walter Islands may be able to offer more advice on this fit and the overall technique.
  • The double stabbed Slicer is also gaining popularity. With the ability to fit two warp stabs, a cloak and still retain some of it's combat ability against NPC's, it is little wonder that it is a favourite for stabbed cloaky offensive plexers these days. Xeros Solette and Sohsa Kroma [spelling?] both use this fit, and may be able to give you some more advice on exact fitting.
  • Destroyers are also popular for this role - with the ability to fit 7 guns and a cloaking device, a destroyer is able to take on offensive plexes solo while still remaining almost immune to non-consensual PvP. This fit seems popular among russian plex farmers for some reason.

Furthermore, there are several strategies you can use to improve your ISK/per. Some of these are as follows, some expert faction war players may be able to contribute more:

  • Smack talk anyone who attempts to engage you, pointing out how ridiculous they look trying to look for PvP in an environment which incentivizes avoiding PvP. Once they snap and use any offensive language, immediately petition them and tell them you did so in local to provoke them further. Use the rules intelligently to remove your opponents from the game entirely.
  • Once you are in a system, open all the Plexes you can find. This makes it more difficult for a PvPer to find where you are, and allows you to warp from plex to plex once someone attempts to chase you. If they are a neutral, they can't "run down" your plexes, allowing you to accumulate LP while wasting a PvPer's time and frustrating them until they give up.
  • No matter how many warp stabs you are fitting, you should always be positioned to maximise your distance from the entry point of the plex, to give you maximum time to warp out.
  • If you are equipping a cloaking device and there are other nearby plexes open, use your cloaking device before an aggressor lands on grid. This may confuse the aggressor, causing him to warp off to another nearby plex to look for you, during which time you can uncloak and rack up a few extra seconds of plex capturing time.

Have fun plexing, and I look forward to seeing you in faction war! If we all abuse this ridiculously broken mechanic, maybe CCP will do something about it and stop incentivising avoiding combat!

These are the same plexers who come into the plex of people actually defending one and leave as soon as anything comes in to fight. Leaving people to die out of their own selfish lust for stabilized LP farming.

In regards to "They help the most on defensive plexing" - No they do not. There is little to no profit in doing so majority of the time. Any of the stabbed alts who are deplexing a system are typically the alts of avid pvp's.

This is absolutely the right attitude. Together, by heavily exploiting this mechanic at every turn to gain risk-free LP and make faction war extremely depressing for everyone, we make it easier to highlight the true extent and severity of the incentivizing non-pvp issue to CCP.

I would say that FW plexes are doing a great job of incentivizing pvp. Just look at the killboards. Anybody who says otherwise ought to look at non-FW space (other lowsec, NPC null, and true null-sec) and do a comparison.

For example: In Gallente/Caldari FW space, Systems with # of Ship Kills in 24 hours:

    Over 100: 10
    Over 50: 17
    Over 40: 23
    Over 30: 31
    Over 20: 40

Not bad. And the kills keep increasing every week.

In other non-news, farmers are going to farm. It's what they do. Don't let the farmers upset you too much. It's bad for your health.

Wow, these guys are pretty harsh...but they are also right. Don't be a douche. If you're gonna join the war get to the front and fight like a real man. That said, I'm gonna help ya out cause I'm chill like that. What you want is semi-afk-ability. Choose a faction who's enemies have tracking issues. Then fit a ship that is very fast and has a tiny sig radius. The rest is just logic and market research. Honestly what I just gave you was simple logic so idk if you can't handle base thought processes then you're beyond help.

Wait, I thought willfully denying others their EVE fun was a perfectly acceptable form of gameplay. Did something change somehwere or does that only apply to blowing up carebears?
