Long time player ? Doubtfull, considering the crap you've posted.

Suffice to say I returned to that asteroid belt 10 minutes later armed to the hilt but they'd left the space.

That would have ended ... very well. *lol*

Don't be a hater, makes you look old! did I say old I meant a tiny diseased ****!

Big smile

To be fair you do show a profound ignorance of basic game mechanics.

and that's my ignorance to play with surely?

This isn't a let all complain about my lack of experience in game mechanics. my OP was to ask if this is the accepted norm to issue a email after the fact quoting some violation and demanding money.

It is perfectly fine and well within the rules.

Don't get me wrong, I understand its a dog eat dog universe, but it takes a pretty shallow F*&K to attack a mining vessel with little shields and no offensive/defensive weapons. actually other than my destroyed vessel and my loss of augments, I see no point in attacking as their security standing would go down and they themselves would be a target.

It wasn't the attack I was commenting on, but the way in which I was emailed a Voilation email, if such rules existed, surely one would be informed after one jumps to that sector, OR leaves a starbase.

They believe in having the smaller loss being a win. They have never experienced anything but losses in their young lives, and so it is only normal for them to believe that what they do is a win. The cuteness gets fuelled by the Great Ramblings - bloggers, who sit alone in their basement with the door locked and making speeches on the Internet to the imaginary one billion readers.

Do not underestimate the power, which lies therein.

Loss is meaningful. Therefore is the loss of meaning likewise meaningful. It is the source of all trolling.

Let us investigate.

Your ship

Problem here is you fitted no tank at all and a full rack of t2 strips, t2 prop mod and a pair of cargo expanders which further reduce your tank. End result, you were profitable to kill just with one of those destroyers.

Given that they also podded you I would also say you were AFK at the time.

My advice is fit a tank next time and deploy a flight of ECM drones while mining and dont wander off if you want to keep those nice implants.

What this guys said^^

You need to catch up with the times a little bit here.

- Cargo Expanders dont do s**t for mining barges anymore since all the Ore goes into the Ore Hold which they dont affect.
- You had 3 free mid slots and a free rig. Most gankers will use a Catalyst with blasters and anti matter. Suggest you buffer your tank and tank against Kinetic (and a little bit of Thermal) damage.
- Fly a Mac. The Ore holds on a Hulk make them useless for solo mining since you have to return to station after every other cycle.
- Ignore everything in that email. Behind all that BS the message is clear. You were trolled by TEST.

Damn dude that is the most pitiful fit on a mining ship I've seen so far.Shocked

If you want to mine in 0.5 then do it in a tanked procurer Concord response time is sloooow in that lvl of space.

Never mine in an exhumer solo untanked in ANY common roid belt, ever.

And always assume they will gank you this way you are vigilant.

And a hulk??? Really? A procurer may not yield as much as a hulk per cycle but the difference is not so great as to bother putting that much isk up on the gambling table solo mining, people still see the 1 strip miner and don't think of the bonuses it gets.

This thread...is not legit.

Nothing to worry, whine, cry or argue'bout.

You have just had your fair share of Eve Online Sand Box where players create the content!
There are many corps/alliances that "take" highsec ore belts to theirs ownership on some systems and gank everyone who doesn't pay the mining rights. Only way to fight back is to wardec those corps and start a dogfight for ore. (or gank back)
Easier is to find another system and crunch some rock there.

It 100% legal and approved by ccp and other players.

Nuff said!

P-I-R-A-C-Y. It was and still is entirely about ships with guns attacking other ships with fewer guns, and taking their stuff.

tell me what is your security standings status with the current factions you are in?
did concord show up to help you when they started firing on you?

if you have a low security standing with the area factions then you will not be protected by the police
look into this to help you while you work in the mining busness

if you have to then work with the police in that area to build up your faction standing to receve the protection you need
runs some missions and storylines for them it will help

Hi,

Trolling or causing others to troll is against the rules. Similarly, attacking people who've posted in your own thread isn't a very nice thing to do, and also against the rules.

Thread locked.
