Oh shoot. I got an AC3 key with my latest graphic card 2 months ago. I reluctantly redeemed the key into my uplay account but with no intention to actually play the game.

Farcry 3 is great though.

The very sun of heaven seemed distorted when viewed through the polarising miasma welling out from this sea-soaked perversion, and twisted menace and suspense lurked leeringly in those crazily elusive angles of carven rock where a second glance shewed concavity after the first shewed convexity.

In my opinion the best one in the franchise. It had a massive catalogue of vehicles and tanks actually had to arc shots to hit something. The best tank drivers where the ones who could lob a shell like a grenade across a 2 km distance. Not the one with a 14 year olds reaction time to first point and click something.

A good Tiger tank driver could take out 25-30 enemy tanks.

The sniper class had 25 bullets in total and all the rifles where bolt action

Propeller planes so you had proper dog fights. 5 man bomber crews.... God that game makes me nostalgic. Desert Combat was seen as a blessing at the time but maybe it was more of a curse...

Modern day battlefield games seem more intent on being a modern warfare game and less interested in the vehicle and large scale strategy aspect.

The very sun of heaven seemed distorted when viewed through the polarising miasma welling out from this sea-soaked perversion, and twisted menace and suspense lurked leeringly in those crazily elusive angles of carven rock where a second glance shewed concavity after the first shewed convexity.

Oh desert combat. I used to love standing on the nose of a C130 and defying physics. Good times.

That and the dune buggy with NOS!
