The Tengu is a modular ship that allows itself to be fit for a variety of tasks. You just need one which, with the exception of rigs, can be fitted for such functions as PvP, PvE, exploration, etc. You only need one.

I just bought and fit another one. I have five docked and fitted now.

And the latest is a rail boat.

I think I have a solution to this addiction. I will train Gallente cruiser to V and start fitting Proteus'.

Very wise to shoot T2 HM's on tacklers and not a single Riggor on zdat Tengu...he deserved to die !

Yeah, I really hate how a fit module can't be removed after getting fit. CCP really needs to fix that.

Sounds like you might be running out of space in your station! Such an issue is a critical hindrance to your eve career. I recommend you get these cluttering ships blown up by pirates as soon as possible.

The funny part is, with his fit, a vigilant might be able to take him 1v1.

In any case not likely a Vigilant will take a Tengu. Tanks are too far apart especially since the T2 resists of the Tengu block Blasters fully.

I usually let EFT prevent me from buying and building things like rail Tengus. I make one in EFT and it's just as effective as it is in game. Much cheaper too.

CCP should add more NPC 0.0 space to open it up and liven things up: the Stepping Stones project.

Is this thread a covert whine about rigs not being modular forcing you to have 5 ships instead of just one and a bunch of parts?

Not really. If I was thinking clearly I would realize 5-15 mill in rigs is much cheaper than a 200 mill hull.

But I am unable to think clearly due to my ailment.

And if I wanted to lose ships I would start with my 30+ fitted T1 and T2 frigs. Then the destroyers. Then my cruisers and battlecruisers. Then my battleships, and then my T3's.
