Why do titan pilots trap themselves?

I mean it's a fine ship and all. But it appears to be sort of an endgame. Get a Titan or SC and retire to the confines of your cockpit until called upon. No other activity allowed, PVE, mining or industry. Heck you can't even dock the thing.

For all intensive purposes, Your trapped. You are a slave to your alliance and your ship.

Why do you do it? Other then the cool flashy DD when you activate it.

They have dedicated titan toons, and then others for the day to day stuff lol

Note: Chribba has at least 4 titans...and who knows how many other capital class ships lol

People buy titans for precisely the same reason people buy these.

When you kick up your feet and smoke the cigar do you not want to be pressing buttons. You just watch everyone paying their taxes and smile while enjoying the view from your "retirement home" aka Titan.

Most people would not consider a floating coffin a "Retirement home".
A retirement home, you can leave every once in awhile, a coffin is for life.......
