Love the Thief series! Werent they talking about making a new one last year or something?

No, there is supposedly a Thief 4 in development that it has been rather quiet about. Maybe E3 will shed some light?

as for me, EVE rules my gaming life (when I close my clients, my characters' faces appear on the designated screen behind it). I'm kinda in love with them, too. it's bad.

I've lost touch with all my console games. I only purchased the PS3 to stay in touch with the goings-on in the EVE universe.

how bad is it for you?

Vendetta Online and MechWarrior Online.

Also Infinity: Battlescape, or I will when that thing launches (and then Infinity: TQFE after that). Cool

I've been meaning to try MechWarrior Online, especially with their use of CryEngine 3... and being free to play..

I was pleasantly surprised to find the franchise was reincarnated in this form, after loving 2 and 3, and how disappointed I was when they released the news that, due to their inability to expand the genre, the franchise would be discontinued

really need to get some more SSDs for these game installs I've been meaning to do

wow commits to their colors with high saturation, and I think it appeals to people's need for visual stimuli... and if it's the blocky/low polygon count you're referring to, that's a smart decision in terms of hardware.

I don't play it. AEON, on the other hand... those girls are HAWT

I will. soon. I don't run games or music on anything other than SSD, and I'm out of room. I think I'll get more... like, today.

I take it you never saw the appeal in minecraft then either?

The human models haven't been updated in 7 years. The newer races have a lot better models.

But alas Worgen Paladins are not an option or I would probably have changed to that. But then I'm a bit of a furry so maybe I'm biased.

Hot? Age of Conan scores pretty high there. I recall a time when I earned some coins making my girl dance... with her bra still on, should be noted. Lol

WoW is aesthetically ugly and outdated. They could fix being outdated, but the ugliness would remain. Ugh

I'm not an eye candy player (i've played videogames with 16 color palettes...) but WoW is plain ugly to my eyes. That may be a matter of opinion, of course, but whenever I eee WoW i think it's an instance on how a game can afford to be ugly and yet succeed if the game itself is good.

Surely Wow delivers what its players look for... and in that aspect, Blizzard is doing better than CCP in terms of understanding who are the bills-payers and assign them enough resources to keep them happy and growing.

It's also infinitely simpler to model for Eve than WoW.

Nothing in Eve moves. The ships are modelled bricks with skins painted on. No twisting or bending or motion capture. A single dust soldier probably cost more work and money to animate than the entire ship rooster, with stations.

Aion is a great looking game. No doubt about that but it's also a very Asian game. It expects you to have a lot of patience.

For example if you have 3 gem/enchant slots on an armor. Putting in gems can fail. The high level gems are expensive and the more you put in the harder the next gem becomes to fit.

When you fail to add a gem the gem is destroyed and so are all previous gems that where placed in the armor.

Could you imagine if fitting low slot mod in Eve had a chance to fail? and that when it did it took the whole rack of mods with it when it wad destroyed. So you had to buy new ones and start over. It's maddening.

Aion also has literally no role players at all. It has some of the most beautiful environments I have ever seen but no one has the time or interest to enjoy them. They're grinding quests or grinding professions or grinding instances or grinding PVP. Everyone is in a hurry and they barely have time to talk.

The very sun of heaven seemed distorted when viewed through the polarising miasma welling out from this sea-soaked perversion, and twisted menace and suspense lurked leeringly in those crazily elusive angles of carven rock where a second glance shewed concavity after the first shewed convexity.

World of Warcraft, have been playing on and off since it came out, though initially I dropped it in favor of EQ2, mainly out of loyalty to EQ1.

Minecraft, something strangely addictive about it, which always draws me back.

Project Zomboid (alpha).

The Walking Dead.

Keep meaning to go back and finish Skyrim; always seem to hit a mental block with TES games then go back after a year or two and start over from scratch then play right through.

Oolite.

I absolutely love minecraft. terraria too.

What breaks my heart is that my best RL friend who also plays games have "finished" them

She's worn out and I still have so much playing I want to do but I can't because I have no one to play them with.

If anyone is interested in a trade, I have two FarCry 3 codes

I just purchased a couple SSDs (Samsung 840 series 256GB--no, not the pro... those break the cost vs benefit ratio)... to install some games after all the gaming talk in this thread...

they both came with FarCry 3 keys, but I have it already...

I would love an Assassin's Creed III key to trade Big smile
