You know: this is :EFFORT:.

Personally i reported lots of bugs already. Last bug was reported just one minute ago.

Would like to have some reward. Like 1 day of subscription for each bugreportBear

Not rewarding players is reward enough, it helps stamp down on selfishness.

You report bugs for the better of the game not because you expect to get something for it.

Besides which, if people knew you could get a day's free play or X isk for reporting a bug then there would be bug reports going in in the thousands, and the dev's would then have to sort out the genuine from the non-genuine which would be too time-consuming so they'd have to stop the reward scheme anyway.

Your reward is the bug getting fixed.

CCP is great about giving rewards for doing their work. Look at all the SP they hand out on the test server.

No reward for reporting. But, there is a reward for exploiting them.

A dead bug is not reward enough?

You will have the knowledge that even when the bug persists for years and years because the devs ignore it, you had the satisfaction of being one of the few that reported it.

I see a real dilemma.

If a bug is reported, do CCP reward the first person to report it or everyone who reported it?

If only the first person gets a reward then a bug reported by 1000 people would result in 1 happy person and 999 upset people because they weren't fast enough. Which will not benefit the community. Just spread misery.

If CCP reward everyone who report the same bug then they would reward frivolous bug reports. Corporations and Alliances would hoard and mass report the same bug in order to farm as much reward as they can.

The very sun of heaven seemed distorted when viewed through the polarising miasma welling out from this sea-soaked perversion, and twisted menace and suspense lurked leeringly in those crazily elusive angles of carven rock where a second glance shewed concavity after the first shewed convexity.
