An example of a GM responding and actually looking into a posters particular petition.

Guys, everytime you want to annoy a GM, Dev, ISD about ANYTHING, start spamming it in GD.

GD: Everyday another success story.

Triggered by: Wars of Sovless Agression, Bending the Knee, Twisting the Knife, Eating Sov Wheaties, Bombless Bombers, Fizzlesov, Interceptor Fleets, Running Away, GhostTime Vuln, Renters, Bombs, Bubbles ?

This is hardly "ANYTHING". This concerns being able to even play the game, and isn't a trivial issue, which you seem to suggest.

Oh it is trivial, and when this thread gets locked you'll see that aswell.

You're no one special, they have dozens of petitions before yours, no they will not bump you to the top of the que because of a ****** post on GD. Actually you more then likely annoyed them by doing so.

Enjoy the soon to be locked thread, followed by a Dev/ISD telling you this, which is an inch shy of telling you to f*ck off...

Just beating a dead horse with another dead horse.

Similar to you still being here, stating how "special" you are and shouldn't be ignored by the Devs...

I suppose asking for a reply after waiting for two weeks for a simple response is a claim to be special. I'm actually not necessarily expecting a response from a GM, but in the past there has been, so on the off chance that there will be is the reason I posted.

Oh look:

Another RMT'er gets caught, gets their account/s duly urp'ed, and then comes whinges about it on GD in contravention of at least two other articles of the forum-rules, beyond the obvious one.

How perfectly precious.

Either learn how to troll --the best I can give this is 1/10, done, done, done to freaking death-- or if you're not trolling, then go find another game to ruin, you worthless ******* parasite.

In either case, good riddance!

Star Wars: the Old Republic may not be EVE. But I'll take the sound of dual blaster-pistols over "NURVV CLAOKING NAOW!!!11oneone!!" any day of the week.

That's what you get for RMTing, isn't it?

You didn't deserve those shinies anyway. Earn your assets properly.

Here is the thing, whether the OP is innocent or guilty is not the point.

IF and I do say IF the OP is stating the truth that they have had no response for over 2 weeks in regards to a perma ban then I do find this worrying.

For what the OP has stated, they had received a perma ban, the reason given is disputed but then all correspondence has stopped and nothing has been heard for over 2 weeks.

On the flip hand goes without saying that without knowing the details then its very difficult to take sides.

For all we know CCP has given the OP a lengthy detail explanation as to why that account has been perma banned, have also replied to their side and there is basically nothing more to say.

Either way because I am in a fairly good mood this morning so I will believe the OP and wish them luck in getting this sorted asap :)

In my experience, CCP has a less than 1% mis-rate on bans, meaning, if you were banned, then they found some concrete connection between you and an EULA breaching activity.

im sure if you petition correctly they can reopen an investigation to go over evidence, and if it can be proven that you WERE involved unknowingly (such as holding isk for a friend without realizing its connection to RMT), then CCP would more than likely reactivate your account (though still confiscating the isk and anything bought with it)

i have never known CCP to be unfair or reckless in their handling of account investigations, and the GM's i have eprsoanlly talked with over many game issues ive experienced were all very nice, so i stand by their decision whatever it is, and whatever becomes of you as a result.

I'm sorry, you work for CCP? You validate their methods and evidence? Unless you do, I'd say you don't know diddlie.

Basically, what you're saying here is if CCP bans someone then that person is guilty otherwise they wouldn't have been banned. What bizarro circular logic world are you from? And why do these imbeciles always come out of the wood work in support of CCP to try to convince the rest of us that CCP is right and true?

The fact is if CCP bans you, you'll never know why and you'll never be able to refute the evidence. That's what's being passed off as a fair shake.

Don't ban me, bro!

And the OP apparently got one.

Vera Sakura wrote:
Well, I left the details out for a reason, but evidence is on my side and the reason they banned me doesn't even make any sense. I think that the ban was hastily administered due to some shiney assets being involved, so they probably figure ban first and then figure everything out later.

Not sure GD is the best place for this.

It would seem more sensible to escalate the petition to a senior GM and failing that; call the damn company in Iceland.

If bans were perfect then there shouldn't be an issue about a delayed response from the normal backed up to Sunday petition queues. Since they ARE NOT! then banned petitions should be at the top of the queue for a response.
