What has happened to it, i now have a laptop which I cannot spin my ship in the station and now the same has happened to my desktop comp...I'm buggered if I can find a setting to enable this....please help

You need to enable "Load Station Environment" under Display Settings in your ESC-Menu.

If you are referring to the ship spinning counter then know that it first require 10-20 ship spins before it starts showing the counter.

Loss is meaningful. Therefore is the loss of meaning likewise meaningful. It is the source of all trolling.

Unfortunately -automated- ship spinning is *still* not working, with station environment enabled, while in hanger view.
Being able to watch your ship spin of its own accord while docked in the hanger used to be a lovely feature.

Ship spinning bots aren't against the ToS.
