Is it an exploit?

A few days ago, i experienced myself to shoot a ninja with a bs.... ( he was in a cruiser)

You will say i'm pretty an idiot, but anyway i thought that he would never go through my tank.... and that's how it worked... i was going to kill him...

Then he came with an alt in a logistic ( impossible to kill his remoted cruiser ) ....
i feel that's not an exploit as it's possible for me to shoot his logistic.... it's not fair game but anyway... i'm fine with that...

Second thing he couldn't go throw my active tank.... so he came with an orca to refiit himself with full neut.... it tooked a long time but he killed me....

is this an exploit? as he use a really different fit than the first one... adapted on the challenge, and his ship that obviously can't kill me in normal way (when i engaged him) did it because he was cap + armor remoted + refit full neut (obviously not cap stable).....
it tooked half an hour .... but he killed me....
i think it's just a bit too much help for a 1v1 in empire .....

So he beat you in a 3v1, sounds reasonable. Fair play for actually engaging him though.

I also shot a ninja Arbi in my Ishtar, and little did I know that ****** had a whole fleet of retardedly OP ships on his side. I think it's an exploit to have a surprise trumpcard in your sleeve when you engage in a fair 1vs1

This wasn't an exploit, but rather superior tactics. He baited you to attack, and you failed for it. It took me a long time to also realize Eve is a team sport. Solo gameplay doing anything will leave you at disadvantage. Helps CCP sell you more accounts.

Also, it's not an exploit to use the game mechanics to his advantage. You engaged on him, meaning you accepted whatever card he had against you. Do you think highsec means BS > anything smaller 100% of the time? Smile Live and learn. Also where were your corp mates? Surely a buddy in a gank fit BC could've came in while you had NPC aggro and just ripped through his reps (even if he had boosts, which he probably did if he's dedicating Orcas and logis).

The timer starts counting down when aggression on both sided ceases. Your actual deaggression timer (can't dock or use stargates) is much shorter and is one sided.

Unfortunately, this is the reason you have always been told not to shoot at the ninja. Few people in EVE fight fair. Most folks who steal items to get agro have logistics alts or friends nearby. That is the nature of the game in high sec pvp.

The orca thing is interesting. What I used to do in high sec can flipping sometimes is have a friend come by and jump out of their heavy assault cruiser and i would jump out of my merlin and into their HAC and kill the target. It was often easier to get people to engage my merlin than it would have been to get them to engage a HAC.

Correct me if im wrong but when the logi reps him it goes suspect.. IE anyone can shoot him right? Cuz if so I would have Asked for help in local.. If you were there for that long some pvpers could have easily come in and ganked his logi for you.. just for the kms if nothing else..

yeah i could have attacked the logi but then i would have a second ship on me ( he dock fo a pvp ship)

In fact that's the orca refit that i think is pretty lame..... it's like you can adapt yourself to a situation without docking.... he would have never killed me without that... it's just you tackle someone and then you fit yourself in space to kill him while still tackle the guy.....
then why do we use a fit? each fit as his counterparts .... but there is no more counterparts in this situation as you can change during the fight.....
or make the orca targettable like the logistic.... it's an help during a fight, and the orca doing this should go under suspect flag....
here the orca came to the fight... just sitting there and you can't do nothing against him
it's a heavy help during a fight without any counterpart....
