Some dumb questions about an Orca

Ive never flown and Orca as ive never been a big fan of mining. But ive heard that it is an extremely versatile ship and can be used for a lot of other things.

ive been told that they can be used as a mobile base in a WH. The question is

Once you have taken your ratting ship out of the Orca and you fly away to run a site, can you Orca be scanned down by someone else or can you cloak the orca while you are not in it.


and an extention of this question is could you do the same in highsec/lowsec/nullsec or can your orca be scanned out while you are not in it.

You can not cloak an Orca and leave it.
It can be stolen.

I use my alt and keep it cloaked in wormholes.
You can refit with it and it holds everything you need.

Be nice. If nice not work, be civil. If civil not work, beat with iron pipe till bloody and still.

Basically yes to all of them. Yes, it can be used as a mobile base. Yes, if you leave it behind it can be scanned down. Yes, it works the same in all security space.

The only one of your questions to which the answer is no is "can I cloak it while I am not in it". No, that can't be done; all ships can only run modules while the pilot is aboard. So, if you un-ass a ship all the modules shut down, including the cloak.

PVP is a question with no single right answer, but a lot of wrong ones.
