Didn't see this on the boards yet and since it is battleclinic would assume this would be on the front page....

Currently google is listing Battleclinic.com as a malware site due to three Ad domains...

If you want to visit it highly recommend turning off javascript before going into it...

For any BC admin exact domains as followed]

"What happened when Google visited this site?

Of the 1102 pages we tested on the site over the past 90 days, 40 page(s) resulted in malicious software being downloaded and installed without user consent. The last time Google visited this site was on 2013-02-28, and the last time suspicious content was found on this site was on 2013-02-28.

Malicious software is hosted on 3 domain(s), including blackfriday-shopping.com/, edithfilms.ch/, squarerigger.com/.

3 domain(s) appear to be functioning as intermediaries for distributing malware to visitors of this site, including zero1blog.com/, blindferretmedia.com/, decktech.org/.

This site was hosted on 1 network(s) including AS32400 (HWSERVICES)."

Yeah, my computer 'caught something' at BC a few years ago.

I just don't use it anymore at all.

Battleclinic is malware for the brain.

You open up Battleclinic looking for Drake fits and you see something that you don't know is bloody awful, but for whatever reason you end up living with the conviction that fitting SPRs to a PvP Drake actually makes sense.

But the error message reported in the OP indicates that Battleclinic's ad network is the one responsible for the malware. Since the ads are displayed as part of the BC content, Google has blocked Battleclinic.

Personally I create my own fits, I don't copy others. If you need someone else to fit your ships for you , you have no one but yourself to blame if you copy an awful fit.

Its the killboard i'm interested in as I have already covered, reading a thread before posting, usually a good idea.

I don't use Chrome but here are instructions from java.com:

Chrome

Click on the Chrome menu, and then select Settings.
At the bottom of Settings window, click Show advanced settings
Scroll down to the Privacy section and click on Content Settings.
In the Content Settings panel, scroll down to the Plug-ins section.
Under the Plug-ins section, click Disable individual plug-ins.
In the Plugins panel, scroll to the Java section. Click Disable to disable the Java Plug-in.
Close and restart the browser to enable the changes.

Note: Alternatively, you can access the Plug-ins settings by typing about:plugins in the browser address bar.

From Battleclinic forum:

Quote:
Hi folks,
If you're getting malware or blocked-page warnings, it's because some advertisements within our ad network were hacked.

BATTLECLINIC IS SAFE.

We have suspended the ad network permanently.

We've submitted the site to Google to remove the block and expect it to be lifted shortly. We want to apologize for this and are taking additional steps to ensure this does not happen again.
