Bring back all the Micro modules

I know a few micro modules still exist, but why were the others removed?

They were specifically designed to outfit frigates, there were BPOs for them all

But most of them vanished

I say bring them back, to make outfitting frigates easier

Bring back the BPOs, so people can invent t2 versions too

It`ll be a new market, and could help younger players learn more about building and invention

They would still need to add the Tech 2 blueprints and items, you know.

The Caldari put business before pleasure. The Gallente put business in pleasure.

How would this benefit the budding industrialist? There are too many well established manufacturers who would snap up loads of the BPOs as soon as they hit the market, and within a day, the market would be flooded with overpriced Micro modules and overpriced BPOs. Just like any new print.

Also, there are small modules, designed for frigates. Now they have been rebalanced, most frigates have more room to fit useful stuff. Hell, lots of people are already oversizing modules on frigates.

The only reason I can see to bring back micro modules would be if a new line of "Fighter" sized ships were released.

Or repurpose the Micro Modules change them to be even more weaker so that they can then implement Micro fitting services for Drones in terms of being able to define the tank and speed, being able to choose between buffer tank or active rep on your drones etc... If this is a bad idea please just say so.

It's not as bad as your T2 cov-ops cloaking carrier idea, but that's not saying much.

Overcomplicating drones to that degree is going too far. I suggested modular drones, but with a single option, (between damage type or utility,) and the choice of an lighter attack hull or a heavier combat hull.

I have never seen a fit that should have used micro modules, ever.

Micro modules cannot be seen with the naked eye. Micro modules are all around us, however. Even inside of us. I suggest a getting microscope so you can see the wonderful, amazing microscopic world around us.

Probably because they have been gone that long

I don`t think the 3rd party fitting tools existed then, so none could have been saved

(micro modules were fitted mainly on frigates and Interceptors)

FYI, this was pre-2005

Mind posting a list of what micro modules would be returned?

Apart from the micro Cap Battery, I don`t really remember the exact ones

Whatever people say about Small modules properly replacing micro ones, is not true at all
(it can still be a struggle outfitting small ships)

CCP removed the micro module BPOs (and the loot drops of them too)
but never increased the CPU and Powergrid enough for fitting Small modules easily

I could see bringing back micro modules if they got rid of civilian modules, but that is just trading one module for another.

If you don't follow the rules, neither will I.

Micro modules are more superior than the rubbishy civ modules (civ shield booster is such a joke)
but that was the only civ module in existence, while the micro modules were still plentifully around

So you dont remember how much of these things existed, and for some reason Eve worked 8 years without them, but its still necessary to get them back?

What?
