When you enter wormhole and activate the afterburner after the jump bubble appears around you and the AB/MWD initiates cycle

Does the mass of AB add or will the mass before bubble be used in the mass calculation.

Please only post the answer if you are 100% sure.

It will not add since you activated the prop mod AFTER jumping through the wormhole. I know your trick questions, you. Also, if you really want to know the answer to your bizzare question just right click on your ship and SHOW INFO, it will have everything nicely calculated for you.

The propmod still cycles though. You jump through, it says JUMPING (the message after you can no longer cancel the action) and *THEN* you CAN activate the propmod and it does CYCLE while still in the system you are jumping from.

I'd say it's pretty safe to assume that your ship's current mass is included in the "jump wh" request from your client to server (light mass in your case), since it's tested against the wormhole's mass parameters before any jumping occurs, and if it passes, that amount gets reduced from the wh mass. And not some post-event altered mass that might not even pass the tests, but hey, who knows :)

The animations are all client-side cosmetic stuff and not really relevant. There is a communication delay between your client and server, so it certainly is possible to give commands between initiating the jump and your client getting instructions to proceed with the jump sequence including those fancy animations. You can even get fresh dscan results.

Kick the fatties from the back seat and you'll be fine.

When you are jumping through, the stats of your ship are frozen even if you activate modules halfway through the jump.

To confirm this; try jumping into a N110 or similar with a ship that is less than 20mil without the Prop and over 20mil with the Prop mod on. Activate once you have accepted the dialog and see if it halts your jump or spits you back out. I believe Sushi is right though.

Yeah it sounds about right, I just had an issue where I activated AB after jump and since I didn't have HIC id risk having my ship left out in the nullsec and I didn't feel like doing 60 jumps.

Better safe than sorry right?
