Can anyone give me a few Tengu fits (or pointers) that will stand up to the worst the sleepers in a C3 will dish out? I hear that they nuet the hell out of you and that a standard shield booster Tengu may have trouble.

I love the smell of solo Tengus in a c3. It smells like tears!

You don't need a faction fit tengu to run C3's, as many of those posts say you do. Omnitank with resists over 70%. i use to use a 5 launcher fit with a dread Guristas large SB. Needed 3 x CCC to be cap stable but it worked like a charm and could solo easily enough all the combat sites.

whats funny is the google link you came up with is a fuckin post from this website.......so if that person never posted it to ask a question (as your saying i should not have) then the answer you found would never have been here. Posting questions on the forums for stuff like this IS the appropriate first stop. Google is also an option but you never know what your going to get and id rather have updated real time info.

Thank you for you understanding......b!tch

I won't give away exact fits, but since you seem pretty cool I'll give you some pointers.

Deadspace fit it. B-type or better. It's ok to go C-type on the invul until you get your wallet up. But for solo C3 you NEED to go B-type or better to make isk efficiently. There is an open debate with good points on both sides as to wether to use t2 launchers or DG launchers. I'll say if you have heavy missile specialization to 5 it's OK to with go T2 and anything less go DG.

Don't bother with the google or battle clinic fits. They don't start with "I've never flown one but on EFT...." but at a glance you can tell the majority are from guys that fly EFT and haven't actually solo'd a C3 in a tengu. I haven't run the numbers, I've run the site.

Also the more pimp you have the less you'll need to check d-scan. I'd say at least a-type or officer fit and you'll never have to check d-scan again.
Pimpage also allows you to jump thru wormholes as often as you like. An officer fit tengu is nearly unkillable as long as you keep jumping back and forth thru the wh.

Like Omen said, remember you officer mods for soloing C3s in ten minutes!

Bob Artis, you will be missed.

I don't have eft handy, but when I ran C3 sites in tengus it was built around a gistum c-type medium shield booster. 6 launchers, afterburner. You can probably fill in the rest.

I never found the neuts to be an issue. The whole point of a tengu is to kill everything at range. I just never let the neuting battleships get inside their neut range (about 70km)

You don't need to do much with a Tengu for this. Go with Derath's post.
