I have no sound when I play EvE, I checked the Windows volume mixer, everything is fine and I get sound with other programs. Everything is set to max in the game audio options.. I'm out of idea here.
Oh, by the way, I'm looking for the game sound effects (warp, computer voice, guns, etc.); where can I find them ? I use the "exSTUFF Explorer" program but I can't find the audio files in the install folder. (that may be why I dont get any sound when I think about it...)

I have the same issue.
my sound is gone
all effects
all music
all world
all UI

eve has gone silent, it seems to be likely caused a retribution patch.
im running on win7

I think the sound files are stored here; \CCP\EVE\res\audio

Have you checked audio is turned on (enabled) in the [Esc] menu ‘Audio and Chat’ tab?
And all the volume sliders are turned up (to the right)?
Some players have had luck disabling then re-enabling the audio from the above menu, it’s worth a try.

Yes all the ingame audio options are set to the maximum.
I looked in CCP/Res/Audio and I only have empty folders: "English" "Japenese" "German" etc.. And a last one called "Jukebox". No sound effects here. :(

So I just checked the Res folder without using exStuff, I got plenty of BNK files under audio. Not too sure how to open them though.

Same results here:

Sound works for everything but Eve.

I use Mumble or TS3 while playing Eve but still no Eve sound (I've done it without either also but same result).

All sliders to max volume.

I've tried unselecting and re-selecting the sound option in Eve.

Windows 7 64-bit

Whatever the issue is, it is specific to Eve.
