I am just getting into Eve Fiction, any recommendations on what to read or where to start?

While our warriors fight for our people's freedom, we in turn should fight for our people's prosperity.

Yeah read all the short stories.

These will keep you busy since they are more like novels than short stories :)

Chronicles

Mal: "If anyone gets nosy, just...you know... shoot 'em. "

Zoe: "Shoot 'em?"

Mal: "Politely."

EVE Chronicles - Written by various people at CCP (mostly CCP Abraxas), and (for the very early chronicles) by some people in the community *glances at Istvaan*. These cover mostly set-dressing and things we as players are more or less unaware of.

Short Stories - Longer fiction than the chronicles, in most cases. Several of these were written by Tony Gonzales and very much tie into his books.

Scientific Articles - These were written before the launch of the game and may not be super-accurate today. In some cases gameworld technology has advanced, in some cases the scientific article doesn't match the game, and in some cases there are more or less accepted better explanations for things.

Overview of the Races - If you want a quick guide with broad strokes for the four empires, this is still pretty good.

Evelopedia Fiction Portal - Written by CCP and the Mercury ISD group, this is basically a project to flesh out everything in the game and in the fiction with in-depth articles. The newest PF articles on the wiki can be found listed here.

EVE News - In-world news articles written by CCP and Mercury. These recently started again after a long hiatus, and are an excellent source for finding out what's going on in the empires right now. The main CCP stories are found in the "World News" listing, while news for the factions can be found further down.

Horatius gives an excellent run down on the best ways to get into the lore.

I personally would start with the Chrons, then go to the Fiction Portal, then the Short Stories, then the Novels, then the News Arcs, then the Scientific Articles.
