Dear CSM person who gets elected

There's a few minor changes that I'd love to see you push through.


First is this one with the cones.

Second one I'd love to see added is the flag for polarization. You know how you have the weapons flag and the suspect flag that appear at the top left? One for polarization would be amazing.


Like I said, minor changes we'd love you for.

Both suggestions seems reasonable. If I am elected I will make sure CCP to know.

Changing the orientation of the arrows would alleviate many of the pains scanners run into on a daily basis, It's definitely something that should be brought to CCP's attention by whomever is elected.

A Polarization flag would be a bit tougher to code ans implement, there would need to be a way for the Flag to identify what wormhole it applied to, because if you just had a flag up there that turned on every time you polarized yourself there would probably be a considerable amount of confusion and WTFing. (not that this is a bad thing)

I like both of these ideas though, thanks for taking the time to bring them to our attention!

I wanna remind you that we still have a CSM now, his name is Two Step. CSM7 is still active they didnt go away.

Pro Tip on the probing: Don't use the arrows, they slow you down considerably. Use the cube to move the probe in any direction you like.

Personally I'm against visible polarity times. I don't see any reason to put them in other than 'omg WHs are hard'.

agreed. Don't need a polarity timer. Keeping it off the UI maintains the detachment between W and K-space.


As for the UI, it needs more hotkeys and the main thing imo,

"recall probes" and "scan" needs to be not next to each other.
