I haven't played for about a year, however I used to scan out sites with ease. I could use 5 probes and in a matter of minutes was able to scan and weed out the sites I did/n't want. I have started again and now I can't scan anything down even with 7 probes out. I get to narrowing it down and it always vanishes around 4 au. I move them all around and I get nothing, as soon as I go back 8 au, it pops back out right next to where my probes are at. My filters are all set, I have levels 4 for most of the skills, using sisters launcher and probes, have a ship with 50% bonus and two 10% bonus rigs on it. I don't know what is going on but it is a little frustrating to have everything just vanish when I get to narrowing it down, when I used to be able to find any of them. Does anyone have any helpful advice?

Probably have more luck in the missions and complexes forum for scanning advice.

If they vanish like you say, Im pretty sure you have a filter in use. They implemented it some time ago.

In the System Scanner window, under Scan Results, make sure you have "Show all".

I just got it figured out, I was still using my old filter sets and even though I went in and checked all, they however didn't have an option for the "unknown" tab. I guess since they were in use before that was available, I wasn't able to use it. I just had to make a new set and there it was at the bottom. Thank you.
