I hope that soemtime in the next 10 years i can slowly buy up all of the T2 BPO's i can and shove them forever into my "collectibles" station container, i have so many nice things ive bartered/bought/magpied from dumb players, poor players, leaving players, etc.

maybe one day ill have enough collectibles (defined as any item you can no longer obtain through conventional means), to FILL that station container.

Warning for the OP! The following may blow your pea brain:

Lack of profit that you are experiencing with invention is not the fault of T2 BPO owners but rather the fault of your fellow inventors. Various reasons of course which vary from inventors being cretins and just operating at break even or at a loss OR they are superior to you and are making profits with prices that are sending you into bankruptcy.

Do your self a favour and do some calculations of on proft of items that do not have a T2 BPO and you will see.

T2 BPO pretty much just boils down to convenience of not having to bother with the invention click fest and ability to operate on layed back monthly cycles while the 99% run around.

Lets say tommorow all owners of T2 bpo unsubbed accounts, all we would have left is invention.. Why should a few lucky players own the rare bpo? Why are they so special?

How many of these T2 bpo just sit in containers with collectors who will never use or sell them?


I see T2 BPO's for sale all the time. You too, can be special.


The problem is they have to much value as a collectors item or as a way to keep large sums of isk safe from inflation. They arent realisicly priced.

T2 bpo should never be finite and and exclusive, this is not how Eve works only a few rare items like tournament prize ships fit in that role, something as important as modules we all use should be available fairly to all.

Actually this IS how Eve works, you just don't like it, and sounds like you are mad because you weren't around for it when it happened. Suppose Runescape should remove all those Phats cuz those guys are too cool too? Furthermore the tourney ships that you mentioned prove your point in the other direction. Tourny ships are used FAR less frequently than T2 BPOs so they are more valuable and less used than a collectors item. Wanna compare the Price of lets say a hulk BPO compared to the last Federation Navy Megathron? Come talk to forums then.

A friend of mine owns a Hugin T2 BPO and he said it literally is right click, print ISK. One day I hope he quits the game and gives me his stuff. lol

There is a lot of T2 BPOs on ingame contracts and they are being auctioned on forums all the time. Go and get some, like other people.

There is a finite and a rather low number of T2 BPO's. There is no such limit on invention.

In other words, even if one single alliance got all the T2 BPO's in the game and started cranking up T2 stuff 24/7 they would still not dominate any market. (Barring possibly some very low volume products.)

In yet another set of words, before making wild statements it would be wise to do the numbers first.

If you don't like them, buy them, trash them, fraps it, post on the forums and become a legend.

Then realize that the "no money to be made from T2BPOs" is more down to inventards than it is T2BPO

If you repost this in 2 or 3 weeks you will get more support. The last one was more anti-BPO and I've noticed they tend to alternate.
