The easiest way to explain this is with a picture:

It's a little hard to see, but Dark Bestia has me locked and yellow in the 3D viewport, however, the overview shows as locked and red.

I think this is a recent bug and it can be rather confusing.

Let me know if you need anymore info.

PS. the "ships without brackets" bug is still present (I have checked to make sure that the new ship types are selected in the settings).
