Best advice i can give is as a new pilot the main thing your going to need to achieve much in PVP is friends. so join a pvp corp.

You will always need another way to provide you with isk to keep ships in your hanger. PVP rarely results in profit long term.

monk.

If you don't need 23 pilots to kill a Rifter, you don't have to divide the loot between 23 players. You can always hunt people who doesn't really want to fight you, billions of ISK in loot in a few days is entirely possible. Also the more people you have , the bigger chance to scare away the target. Don't let them convince you to join their boring fleets and have 1/100th of the fights you could by just going out and kill stuff Twisted

the problem with that is that solo PVP is not exactly what i'd describe as a viable venture for a new player. As people have repeatedly said the first step is getting experience, you will learn little from zerging ships relentlessly into low or null sec.

that said there are options.

joining a corp does not specifically mean become a part of some massive death blob. As an example there is FW, while many people snub it, the standard of PVP here is a little less brutal generally and can be a good place to learn.

RvB is another setup which is very new player friendly when it comes to PVP due to their persuasion to fly smaller ships where possible.

As well as things like this, even joining a PVE corp will put you amongst players that can help you learn how EVE works on the whole. Right now Egravant I think it's fair to say your knowledge is pretty limited, having people who can explain all the intricacies of EVE will make you more aware of why what you are doing now isn;t working and what you need to change.

As well as Kil2's & Garmons links i'd say check out Kil2's podcasts, and get a fitting tool so you can experiment with how you can make your ships work better. (EFT of Pyfa are the most popular).
A secondary guide for fittings you can use is look up the killmails of players considered to be good at PVP, you will often find somewhere along the way they have used a ship you want to try, and learning from their fittings can be very useful.

Drop me a mail in game sometime if you like and I can probably take some time to help you out.

Main thing to remember, EVE is complex, and knowledge is power.

I'm friendly. Doesn't mean I won't shoot you but I'll be nice about it!

To OP Find a like minded corp to get your feet wet in the pvp world.

That is the Way, the Tao.

Guys you are very helpful and i learn a lot from you

This is why a corp usually isn't such a bad idea. The road towards being slightly less clueless will go a lot faster. You might even end up liking the social aspect of it or the small gang roams with more experienced players. What's your biggest reason for being so against it?

Anyways gl and have fun, as long as you have that noone can say you're doing it wrong :)
