Max sub-cap buffer tank?

I am wondering what the highest possible sub-cap armor and shield buffer tank would be with nothing but tank (no weapon, propulsion, etc.).

The best answer gets a 1+ (I have foreseen that this will be a common way to reward best answers in the future. So, FIRST!)

with a titan armor boosting you can get 1.2 mil ehp out of a proteus im at work so i cant link it but basically slaves plus five hardwirings 3 officer enams 2 plates t2 trimarks... etc etc its pretty ********

Some of these fits are kinda sad. That Damnation in particular. You can get a Damnation well over 800k without putting a stupid shield buffer with 34 billion isk of invulns on it.

As you can see, it is a completely feasible fit, and will break a million omni EHP easily with the hardeners overheated.

AFAIK though the biggest buffer tank you can get out of a subcap for a reasonable (sub-10B) price is on the Snorpion. I could be wrong, I've no access to EFT at the moment.

Well - the OP asked for the strongest possible subcap tank - not the strongest subcap tank for a reasonable price.

And no - the Scorp is nowhere near the best possible tank (sub 10 bill or not) - I don't need EFT to tell you that - the mere existance of the rattlesnake rules that out (not to mention T3's etc...).

I really don't think the Rattlesnake gets a bigger tank than the Snorpion. Not sure why people are saying that. Snorpion has 8 mids to the Rattle's 7, and they get the same shield resist bonus. Something I'm missing?

C6 Wolf Rayet Star - hence I left out the Titans as boosters (because it wouldn't be possible to get get one inthere/construct one in the WH) - EFT would let me add them and it would be somewhere above 2.3 million EHP, but not really possible in eve.

Edit: @Iam - ah sorry - thought Snorpion was a typo and you meant the vanilla scorp - never heard that acronym for a navy scorp...
I still think the Rattlesnake would come out on top if dualtanked for buffer only, because with same base resistances, it gets 2 lowslots in exchange for one med- but it certainly would be close between the two...

I'm still certain a proteus, damnation etc... could be fitted to more EHP with that 10 bill max handicap - guess I'd have to try, but cba atm (pricechecks would drive me insane)...
