Say, why do you take the responsibility on you? I doubt you feel guilty or responsible for players quitting...

Please provide proof that more players are quitting today than they were a year ago.

I am curious as to why it matters?

If it is an active subscription it is an active subscription.

Some people may finance it by paying subscription fees directly to CCP, others may buy ETCs, others might do GTCs, some may use PLEX. They have all of the same options that anyone else who plays EVE has.

You need to ask yourself why it matters. I was joking when I said "One cannot just leave the task to anyone."

If a person quits because of a gank I really doubt they would of stayed much longer

That varies.. a highly negative first impression is more damaging than the same thing happening later. Its pretty basic human psychology actually. There's a reason people say that first impressions last forever.

I doubt that CCP develops their game purely with player numbers in mind. They do want to keep their income, but they also want to provide a meaningful game. This is why they are game makers, developers, programmers and artists and not bankers.

They will look at this and ask themselves if this is a meaningful play style, and if not, how can they make it into one. They will not say "Hey, we are losing players! We need to make this stop."

Why?

Your base claim is that the New Order of Highsec is responsible for players quitting EVE.

I do not believe that there has been a significant upturn in numbers of people quitting EVE per active accounts than there was a year ago. If there hasn't been a noticeable increase in people quitting EVE as a percentage of active accounts then the New Order of Highsec is not the root cause of people quitting the game.

The only thing that I know to be factually true is that the New Order of Highsec has been the cause of new subscriptions.

I am asking you to validate your claim that it is with facts.

I wish I knew how to write a bot, I would be making tons of money with this order.

Whether you like it or not, mining by itself encourages an afk behaviour. Now all you can do with these ganks is encourage people to get a bot that will mine better than a human and auto align and warps out if a neutral enters a belt.

Good job, you are fixing High Sec really well.

A server wide miner strike will sort this one out pretty nicely, crash the mineral market, you will really see those ganker's whine. Miners are hard to unite though, pvper's/gankers have more sense , when in comes to banding together and making themselves get noticed.

Pffft. Even if you could organize the HS miners, the NulBears would step into the gap with their alliances and mountainous stockpiles of minerals and ores.

Doomed propsition there, mate.

This is not ever going to happen. It is just a few miners who got ganked, but a lot more who keep mining. It is not even close to being a threat to mining.

This really is just some players complaining about a few others who are advertising an annoying play style. It seems we have been missing it from the game and did not even know about it.

This is indeed an area where any numbers up or down is entirely "faith-based".

I don't think he have mountains of ores. What we do have is a very specific set of skills, ships, and asteroids (which have been gathering dust). If this market gap occurs we will look for it, we will find it, and we will kill it.
