Historically these efforts to 'oppose' the New Order have been about getting -other- people do it. People have regularly posted ideas for 'opposing' the New Order but when it comes to delivery they don't actually do it. Their ideas were for other people to do and not for them.

We'll see if this one is any different. I suspect, from the lack of detail and from the vague "something" will happen, that this is more hot air that will disperse without anything happening.

But, I really hope that the OP actually -is- doing something.

I guess they are just working towards a safer hisec. Don't you see it?

Odyssey: Repacking in POS hangars for modules +1,  but please for other stuff too, especially containers. Make containers openable in POS hangars.

The problem with the people you're trying to help is that they're not there. You will find out, as have many others, that trying to build a resistance with people who are AFK 99% of the time they are logged into Eve, doesn't end well. So let me get this right your idea of a sandbox game is for people to pay to play EVE the way you want them too.
Yeah that makes perfect since. So the guys that do nothing but buy and sell on the market and just build stuff to sell let kill them too.

Sorry but I'm going to play how every I want too. But if you want to pay for my sub then maybe i'll play how you want me too play.

Did nobody else read this and think, If i were James 315, this is exactly what I'd post. Unless I've missed the point entirely, isn't his whole idea to harass Hi-sec miners until they are forced to protect themselves and actually play rather than sit AFK?

Doesn't this post suggest Hi-sec miners do exactly that?

The whole order is just some guys trying to change the way a lot of people play in Hi-sec (for the better IMO but that's by the by) by creating mass movements on both sides of the coin.

When i'm getting bumped it's mostly off the gate, and people are shooting at me. The there is no concord coming to save me, and the peashooter gateguns are not going to save anyone.

Not remotely true. No code-compliant miner has ever been blown up by an Agent or Knight of the New Order on purpose, and even when it happens by accident (to my knowledge there has never been an accidental gank, only a few bumps) the victim is more than fully reimbursed.

I won't deny that we blow up ATK miners though, because we do. We don't make any claims not to, either.

A lot is accurate. The official New Order corp alone has confiscated more than 250 billion ISK in criminal miner assets over the last month and a half, and many New Order operatives are not even in the corp, since it isn't compulsory.

Hulkageddon didn't stop me afk mining and new order won't either (not that I've actually seen these guys)

whenever high sec becomes unsafe for afk mining, smart miners mine security missions instead. especially now the mack and retriever have large ore bays this is very feasible.

I wasn't scanned down once.

Sick burn from, uh, 'Nite's Reign'. At least when TEST and Goons bring nothing to the game they get recognised for it.

In any case, 90% of the New Order is not nullsec players. Many of them are converted miners or carebears. More are ex-highsec pirates who found it better to join the New Order than try to fight CCP solo. Some are grunts from nullsec. Some are random players from lowsec. Some joined EVE as a result of reading minerbumping.com

Really, you can't just categorise all members of the New Order, because they come from all walks of EVE life and all areas of the game.

Wait, let me see if I understand this correctly. Your big idea is to dock up when the order is in your system and clone jump to the other side of New Eden? Am I understanding this correctly?

Allow me to rebut.

1. If you leave a specific ice field, then it is New Order 1 miners 0.

2. What will you do when the New Order controls ALL of the high sec ice fields? Move to low?

3. Are you gonna pay for all the extra ships every miner will need to have spread out all over New Eden as well as hauling all this spread out ore/ice?

I have an idea. Now, I know that this will be considered radical but just hear me out before you say no. You ready?

Buy a mining permit.

I can promise you that anyone who pays for a mining permit and follows the code (including updating your bio) is put on a list and that list is checked before any action is taken against them.*
