I regularly use both these programs, which has resulted in a large number of garbage fits collecting dust.

Is there some way with either of these programs to browse just the already saved fits?

Is there some way with either of these programs to clear all saved fits (to clear the decks so to speak)?

I'm a jerk.  Get used to it.

For pyfa:
1) Nope
2) You can just wipe the .pyfa folder from your home directory

For EFT:

  1. Close down EFT
  2. Browse to the directory of where EFT is stored
  3. Delete the Setups folder along with it's contents
  4. Open up EFT again to see that all your fittings have been deleted.

No need to close it. Enough that you closed all relevant setup windows.
Also, keep in mind that EFT keep fits in one-file-per-hull.
