Was in and around Hek two days ago and some dude calls out rats in top belt. I figured it was likely a scam/trick/trap but I went to check it out anyway. There is a fight going on and some dude gets himself concorddokkened. Being new to ninja salvaging, and being a sometimes solo pest like operator, I burned over to his wreck in my sexy vexor and grabbed a few surviving tech 2 auto cannons and started the salvage on his frig wreck , I didn't even see what kind of frig it was.

Back at the station I was happy to see the guns sold for 1.8 mill and the intact armor plate sold for a tidy 31 million isk, not bad for 5 mins of ninja.

That's not what ninja salvaging is but it's good stuff anyway. At the moment assault frigates often salvage for twice what the ship is worth. Cool

When you looted his wreck you got an aggresion timer and he or friends could shoot you while you salvaged. If you had salvaged first then you could be nice and safe while doing so, then loot as you fly of.

Risk is of course, someone else steals the loot.
