Greetings!

Like myself I guess there are other new players out there that are interested in going to low sec trying out PVP/Piracy.
To some, going out alone when you are new might be scary, or you might be looking for other new players with similar mind to fleet up with and start a roam.

There for I created an in game chat channel for new players looking to find friends to roam around low sec with.
The idea is for like-minded to gather in one place and share experiences, ideas and start various boat violence activities together.

Maybe even vets could join this channel and share their knowledge with the newbies and give advice on how to kill stuff.

Sir,

you are an alt of Lukka's, right? Or an alt of some other noob-luring killboard-padder?

I endorse this enterprise and wish all newcomers the best of luck. I still remember the rush my first kill gave me.

Everyone who participates will probably all die horribly by an infiltrator in the ranks, but it should be comical. Many learning opportunities are possible in this.

This is a good idea.

I also suggest hanging out in the various public pirate corp channels. They can be great places for learning tricks of the trade and meeting some of the more dangerous locals. You can also use these channels as a bat phone for times when you have a fail officer fit Hyperion tackled with your nooby punisher:

I find it giggleworthy that if OP is genuine about her idea of taking noobs to low-sec, she comes and presents that channel name in C&P of all places holy. C&P wouldn't ruin this great idea, would they?

Something smells fishy here, fellas, and it ain't me.

Will be joining this channel in the off chance it's not gank bait.

Agreed putting it in C&P might have been a bad call Big smile
Maybe the New Citizen Q&A would be a better home for this thread, i dont know.

Also of course i realize that vets will probably come here to try to gank noobs but somewhere, somehow you got to kinda start trusting people in some tiny way or you will be VERY lonely in EVE.

Also instead of broadcasting roam-routes and rally points in channel you can agree with others to fleet up then discuss details in fleet chat. I dunno, might be one way of protecting yourself from infiltrators :)

But once again, yes the thought behind this was legit. Im not looking to gank noobs :)
