Would just like to know from you forum gods what ships in eve are in the most need of being redesigned.

Yes, I know. There are lots of other things that need to be fixed with eve......

And this is relatively a minor issue. But I was curious on the eve communities input on what ships should be redesigned.

I personally think that the Osprey and Dominix hull would be a good place to start.

What do you guys think?

Looking at your mugshot, I think you need a makeover. Alot of the ships in the game are fine the way they are. There's no point changing them after years of being a part of the game. Except making them shinier with EXTRA shine.

Definitely the Domi. Nice ship, looks like the ship designer was just in a hurry to finish though, thought about the shape for about 3 seconds, saw how bad it was, and just decided to move on to the megathron, which looks amazing.

Typhoon and tempest could need a new republic revision.

Gallente shuttle. It's just too light in the loafers. Compare it to the Minmatar Advanced/Tie Interceptor, the Amarr shuttles A-Wing fighter, or the stark cold efficient lines of the Caldari shuttle.

The Gallente shuttle is something that is only piloted by people named Biff who drink cauliflower milkshakes while wearing pastel colored sweaters draped over their shoulders.

Total. Frelling. Travesty. IMO.

Pon Farr Memorial: once every 7 years, all the carebears in high-sec must PvP or they will be temp-banned.

leave my shuttle alone.

I will be buying the baby blue robin colored shuttle when it does come out though.

Moa is unfortunate looking... Also, the Bellicose hull could do with having the dismantling job finished so it can be rebuilt.

Vargur/tempest

Do not assume anything above this line was typed by me. Nerf the Truth, it's inconvenient.

Raven, Moa, Osprey, Bellicose, Blackbird, countless frigate designs.

Also, move to ships and mods forum?

Oh please, ffs leave my minmatar ships alone and fly caldari/gallente/amarr or whatever else.

Old EVE designs = best designs. Ship revamping should add them fresh models and textures keeping old style, not making them look like symmetrical plastic toys.

The Dominix is one of the better looking battleships in the game

If anyone says the Nightmare needs a revamp I am gonna spike you to death with it.

OP, you're like one of those aristocrats crying about the humidity while sitting and sipping on their Martini while children on the road are starving to death.

If "ugly ships" is your only problem, you have it great.

Since I so love to tease you guys just let me say that one of the ships listed in this thread is actually getting a makeover for Winter.

You're welcome Smile

I bet it's the Raven, it has needed a symetrical look for epicness for a while now.

pretty sure we were already told that the guy responsible for Scorpion and Maller did also design a new Raven

but symmetry is boring and doesn't fit the caldari philosophy (functionality and efficiency above everything else) at all.

Leave symmetry to the Amarr with their christian-derived religion (YHWH 4 letters and 4=2*2=2^2 symmetrical in every way), their rigid hierarchies, their conservatism, ...

And if you want beautiful designs (designed for humans) go gallente, no caldari would care about that.
