The Hypocrisy of the Brutor Tribe

They say they fight for freedom, yet they employ the likes of pirates and rogues.

I just want out. That's all I've ever wanted. But they won't let me leave.

The Brutor Tribe must be the most corrupt, hypocritical company in all of Heimatar.

Hundreds of bloodthirsty criminals roam the lawless sectors of low security space, armed with cruel intention, hunting down mercilessly any pilot fool enough to be wandering around the belts or stations.

It may come as a surprise to some, although I assure you it is true, that a great many of these are under the employment of the mighty Brutor Tribe, that callous band of bogans under the flag of the Minmatar Republic.

How do I know all this, you might ask? Well, I know because I am one of them.

I am Dorian Tormak, low-sec wanderer, fighter for glory and destroyer of dreams. And the Brutor Tribe backs me although they bitterly keep me out of their precious high-security space.

Call me a pirate, Brutor Tribe. Decrease my security status.

Call me a troll to feed our collective hunger. I'll shed a tear, but not for me.

Before you ask, we don't hire pirates. Sorry.

I was being serious. Ethnically Matari but don't care for the Republic government? That's pretty much the Madate in a nutshell, and the capsuleer population tends to slant in that direction as well.

Although it should also be noted that although we act as the bastion against Republic aggression against the Empire, it is also precisely because of this that we tend to be less openly aggressive towards the Republic than the Empire as well. Simply put, we have more to lose if open war ever broke out.

Point being, there is a surprising number of Gallente & Caldari pilots here as well, because - to be honest - many of the "unwritten rules" of the Empire core tend get overlooked more over here. We'd rather let the little things slide than go to war over a misdirected fart. Our Navy is too busy worrying about the big problems to fret over the little ones.

And that being said... we get more than our fair share of "negative security types" coming in from the badlands to stock up in Berta and the like. But so long as they don't start trouble while they're here then people tend look the other way. Whether that is a good or bad thing is a matter of debate and I'm not getting into that.

So... yeah, the Mandate gets plenty of people with "bad records" coming here from Republic space looking for refuge, and most likely they will indeed find it - just not with our company (although there are plenty of others who will take in known pirates without so much a blink).

He's been in a capsuleer corp before. Currently he seems to like wandering the warzone looking for fights with all & sundry. He managed to get shot down by pilots from three different militias in one engagement. When last seen by our people he was in company of a Loki pilot from Sovereign Fleet.

He's apparently cross-trained for Gallente & Caldari ships. I don't know who told him cloaking an artillery Jaguar was a good idea though.

You're blaming your Tribe because you chose to be a criminal and brigand? What the hell do you expect your brothers and sisters to do, make you go straight?

I would expect them to let me go... and considering how aggressive I've been to the Republic herself over the years, I don't think that is by any means an unrealistic expectation.

I'm just saying, I'd like to not be in a corporation. But the Brutor won't let me.

I'll stay. Though not of my own will. And I'll keep fighting, for as long as it takes.

I'll stay because... it's my pleasure.

Look you inbred moron. CONCORD mandates that you have to be in a corporation of some sort. If you don't want to be in the capsuleer wing of the Brutor Tribe, make your own corp. If that is not acceptable to you, cancel your clone contracts and brush your teeth with a blaster pistol.

I know how it works. But just because it works the way it does, does not mean I am not going to have a problem with it.

You're kind of all over the map, here.

You want glory, but lament that you destroy dreams?

If the Brutor understand anything, it is that war IS the "dream" -- the "reality" is that faced by the innocents who are lost as the war goes on.

You're an immortal. You make some noise here about suffering. All you've managed to do is convince me that you don't understand anything about war at all. The Brutor don't punish you because you make war, they punish you because you make war on the wrong people. You've brought the wrong reality into play in the pursuit of your own dreams.

You don't need freedom from a corporation. You need a good slap and a long chat with your shaman.

It should also be mentioned that the entity responsible for "punishing" his acts of piracy and "reducing his security status" is not the Brutor Tribe but CONCORD, the very same entity that is actively keeping him out of high security space.

It's actually quite easy to leave the Brutor Tribe or any corporation for that matter. You claim to want out, but you say how much you enjoy being there. Why complain about not being able to leave?
