Reprocessing of corpses

Seeing many killmails lately of expensive pod kills loaded down with expensive augmentations, I thought what a waste! Why not make use of those floating corpses in space!!

1. So my idea is being able to collect the corpse into your cargo hold, bring it back to station and extract/salvage some of the augmentations by using the reprocessing command.

2. The pod killmail will show which augmentations are recoverable just like a regular killmail of a ship shows recoverable modules in green.

3. A new skillbook could be implemented called "Corpse Reprocessing". The higher level in this determines your chances of recovering all the augmentations successfully.

Say what a good idea Matthias! IdeaLol

It would sure be nice to pull out those expensive +5 and skill implants out of someone you just podded.

BUT!!! I think it would be better served getting less than 1-5%(at skill 5) of the salvaged parts from the implants from a dead body. Maybe body recycling should also give minerals like carbon and other lil things.

No cuts, no butts, no coconuts!

How would this affect the right-click destroy feature for when you want to remove an implant from your own head. People will pop themselves over and over for a chance to reclaim implants and they don't want anymore.

So let them pop themselves.. they are not guaranteed to get all the implants back. Just like random modules are retrievable out of wrecks..

I would love to see corpses made valuable. A whole new profession called "body snatcher" could be developed. Rookie pilots could have a job besides hero tackle. And there would be new emphasis on podding.

Maybe the corpse could be used to track the character for a certain time. Or used to see his ship fitting or hanger contents. Maybe they could be used to get into a POS shield or use a jump bridge. Or heavens forbid boiled down to steal some skill points!

Lots of great possibilities for corpses would be great to see implemented.

If they were using a booster when they died, it would be nice if you could extract that some how. Twisted

Great idea, it is just that the ethics..
I know .. i know .. the STINKING ETHICS Twisted

This, ethics problem, could be circumvented . .
Idea:
Restrict. said, biomatter reprocessing,
to, ONLY, NPC-Pirate faction's stations. NOT to be confused with , with various things..
Let me re iterate, ... those stations in 0.0 space, that are run by NPC-pirate..
Hence, outside of concord, ethically, controlled space.

And then this is very doable, love it.

That is true by definition.
But are you not just say...
Is there a constant solution to free will, by appending restrictions.
