All looks very nice guys but I am concerned that I cannot find a way of bringing up the text size. I am partially sighted in one eye and colour blind so I'm not joking for the fun of it - I really need to have the text bigger (like you used to be able to) or I start to suffer bad eye strain and headaches. Has this new forum been designed with accessability guidelines in mind for those who do not have perfect vision?

I like the new forums, but the slight problem with it is that using a big monitor, I have a lot of waste space down the sides. That and the fact that dev blogs take me to a different page which would be nice to have them in Eve Gate style page instead

I mean, im looking at these and besides moving everything roudn for the sake of a redecoration, is there anything new besides missing some old stuff?

i can belive ccp feel this is progress. change for the sake of change isnt always for the best, change for the better is.

Love the new forums. I've been waiting anxiously for them to return. Tons of features that were sorely missing from the old forums. They definitely need some work to make them just right, but it's a great start.

You no longer have to wait 72hours to be able to post on forums now when new accounts are created. Is this intended or a bug?

(1) Character auctions COMMONLY last for a week. 3 DAYS notice of "we're going to force you to use these new forums" is INADAQUATE.

(2) I don't see any serious improvement over the old forums, and I see ISSUES with the new ones - you apparently assume everyone lets all websites use whatever color choices they want, even when some of those color choices are almost impossible to read and give some of us active MIGRANE headaches.
I can't FIND some of your bragged about "new controls" like the "compact" control THAT SHOULD BE THE DEFAULT unless I go through the hassle of changing my browser settings to go along with YOUR "make people use OUR colors" rudeness.

MODERN WEB DESIGN DOES NOT FORCE COLOR CHOICES ON PEOPLE.

(3) Where is the font size control? Your chosen FORCED font size, like that in the game, is VERY marginal for me to be able to read at all due to it's excessively small size.

(4) Where is the option to turn the worse-than-worthless space wastage you call "portraits" OFF?



The one IMPROVEMENT I do see over the old forums is the removal of the insanely over-graphical "access bar" thing from the top-left - but the new "background" more than makes up for the way slow loading speeds of that.


Don't you folks bother testing this stuff on REAL WORLD connections, instead of doing all your testing on your LAN or on some massive-bandwidth connection that's a lot faster than MOST OF THE WORLD has access too?
