The old tier 1 (cyclone etc.)battlecruisers still only yield the old manufacturing cost when you want to refine.
When will they be fixed?

Most likely never.

There are previous items that had their mineral requirements increased in the same way; they have not been updated even though any stockpiles must be long gone by now.

fix implies that something is broken.

Yay, this account hasn't had its signature banned. or its account, if you're reading this.

Working as intended. Same with the rebalanced mining barges, rebalanced frigates and rebalanced cruisers.

Essentially if they did this, people could put say 100bill isk of minerals into t1 b'cs like the cyclone (who's mineral requirements have been doubled whilst the ship is basically worse thanks ccp) and then reprocess them post patch and bring 100bill of minerals out of thin air.

Obviously this wouldn't be good for the mineral market. As it was you had a patch date by which you could essentially build half price ships, I think that's enough.

When will will I get my free, legal mineral duplication exploit?

why would it be exploit? costs were balanced , reprocess should yield the new costs , just like every other item in the game

now these tier 1 battlecruisers are cheaper than the mineral costs for their production with max skills and infinite me , yeah that isnt exploit just lame and stupid, not that if you produced them or bought them before patch and now sell them you miraclely get 10m+ free profit , no thats not exploit , but if you want to reprocess them huh exploit for sure....
every change affects prices and some ppl benefit from it , is it exploit to use them out?then 80% of eve should be banned for that

why to keep reprocessing rate at the old level? some more months and prices will go up to prod cost and ppl will look at reprocessing a bc and will find out: huh this ship only yield 70% of the other bc type ,but they cost the same to produce, that is so strange and stupid ,why is that ?

and now this stays the lame way forever cause some ppl thinks it is an exploit ...

1) Reprocess and get new mineral rate = Minerals appearing out of thin air

2) Selling for additional profit after patch = Isk coming from other players + smart patch speculation.

1 means that items get injected into the game
2 means nothing gets injected into the game and a bit more isk moves around from player to player.

such as? I guess you dont mean the buildcost changes of frigates, cruisers or barges because those arent sold for a quite some time yet.

im sure they gona adjust them to all the other BPOs, because there is just no reason to leave em out forever. im sure its not gona happen aslong the there are still stockpiles good for another 2 years.

The additional build cost is 'extra materials', which aren't regained through reprocessing.
This is to prevent the mineral market being crashed by BCs suddenly being worth less than the value of minerals in them.

Economics!

It will probably be reverted to them being regular minerals, affected by ME levels, at some point in the future, when they're satisfied that most, if not all stockpiles will be gone. The same with the containers that got moved to player production.

Total container sales in October and November were only 86% above the total sales value for August and September. It‘s heartwarming to see that the majority of players did not risk their money on CCP repeating the mistake from the introduction of Planetary Interaction. However, there were a few that did. The biggest single buyer of containers in the period from the dev blog announcement to deployment bought containers for 28 billion ISK. There‘s a good chance there‘s a station out there somewhere where you can get a good price on containers on the secondary market.

That would make 28b Container guy so incredibly happy you wouldn't even believe.

The fix that is needed is not the removal of the "extra materials" but that they actually be listed properly as extra materials on the BP's.

By the time teiricide is done, all ships will refine for much less then they required to build.

This is the new reality of EVE. At least from what I have seen and read.
